Human beings, as the most brilliant creature in the world, always enjoy their free wills and wisdom to make alternative choices when they face all kinds of problems; and(转折关系) of course, sometimes they are limited by certain regulations.
As an independent individual, one can make many choices in his life. Some of these choices are trivial as to select what to eat, when to sleep, where to go right now; some are meaningful to one's life like what career he want to engage, what kind of people he want to be and what way of life he want to enjoy. You are the one who make the choices and you are responsible for your self.
Sometimes, people find it hard to make choices, but this does not means they could not. People just get limited by some potential regulations which lead to confine people's idea. For example, one often says he is too tired of such hard work with low salary, but he can do nothing to change it. In fact he can, he just not want to do it in unconventional way(原因1,这个应该放在原因2的位置,不过实际上你只需提到一个可能的原因就够了,这两个原因本身也没有程度上的深浅). But he has absolutely the choice to try another job since he dislikes current one and there are so many jobs everywhere. Maybe he is just afraid that if he loses the job he could not find better one(原因2). So, it is the people who do not will to change their original choice, rather than to conclude there is radically no choice. (regulations应该指的是外部条件而不是人的主观能动性)
Actually, people who could break through conventional thinking to really make choice as his will often can reach a broader land. When education gradually becomes common choice which is believed to lead people to better life, there are still some people who study by themselves then be admitted to college at earlier ages. Bill Gates also serves as a good example here. He entered Harvard in 1973, and dropped out two years later to start the engine of Microsoft which becomes the biggest software company nowadays. And Bill Gates becomes the richest man. It is their choices that follow their heart to make the final achievement. (这段偏了。。。。题目讨论的是不是没有选择,你这段怎么写得好像在说创新可以有更多选择?)
Admittedly(让步的话作为第一个主体段更好), there is indeed something we could not choose, for example our born, the accidental disaster, but at least we could do something to change it. One may complain that he is born in a poor family that he could not afford the education, so his poor family has already decided his sad destiny(后面的例子都是残疾人的,没有照应到这里). Or one may complain that he is a disable man, so he could do nothing in his life. However, a typical model for them is Helen Keller who is a blind and deaf girl. She became blind and deaf when she was very young, but she never gave up to struggle with her fate. She kept learning all her life and was the first blind and deaf person who graduated from college, and finally became the educationist of American physical disabilities. So remember people never lack of choices, they just lack the courage of making the choices.(本来以为是做让步的,结果还是回到原来的主题了,这样的话不如分成2段,让步单独拿出来作一段,然后再反驳,并把这2段放到开头)
To sum up, the absence of choice is a circumstance that is rare. People can enjoy making their own choices, though sometimes there are some limitations.
缺少些正面说理的部分,其他的还不错了 |
