Dear Sir,
I am one passenger who took the flight from Shanghai, China to New York on Oct. 11. Unfortunately, my suitcase did not come out after this flight. As soon as I noticed it, I explained and left my contact information to Mr. Hook who was in charge at the Luggage Claim office.  But till now, I have not received any news.

This is a small black suitcase, about 40cm*50cm, marked “EH” on its left side. It contains two books, one coat and an evening dress. This dress is made for a very important ceremony, which will be held in two day. I am anxious to find it. Could you please push its searching for me?

My claim number is SO596, the flight number is UT567.

But it is regretted I am not be here for a business trip. A big case is waiting in HongKong, quite profitable. But the purchaser is tough. As a result, I am to be sent, as a key technology support, with my Asian Sales Manager to bargain with him, hoping everything is in order. I am really very sorry but I have no choice.
I just talked with Mary, our classmate, she is available during that period. And she likes to be helpful during your stay.  Or I can share all my time with you if you can postpone your schedule to next month.

Out of my expectation, I was not permitted to leave, because of a new terrible epidemic, 禽流感,  unless my blood test is negative. This test will take me two more weeks. I have no choice but to stay here.
Consequently, could you give me an extension of two weeks?
And it is highly appreciated if you can waive any overdue fines that may be charged, considering this particular situation.
