In traditional history study, historians pay much attention to the famous few of a society. The individuals were focused under microscope and it commits a false conclusion that it was the heroes who inserted their own influence to the most significant events of history.

History itself is a huge mixture of politic, economic, culture and religion, etc. It is too complicated to give a clear figure of what happened in the past in a simple word. The historian, who recorded history, had to choose a typical person with heroism or event with great values to write down on the paper. Leaders like emperors, kings, prime ministers and authorities in academic fields are full of our history text books. Though this way, some pieces of history can be known by contemporary people.

But the essence of history is that the capacity of human society leads our lives to the way it is. The progress of technology and the improvement of skill make people live a better way than it the formers do. The advance achieved in art fields also should be thanks to the majority of society. When the art works be acknowledged and appreciated by a lot of people, the lasting value will be preserved well. For example, during the revival of art and literature, the artists put a lot of their attention to show the aesthetics of humanity itself. Many paintings and figures of naked person are created at that time, it is the liberation of mind in common people that made these works be accepted. While during former time, this works might be considered as profanity and be destroyed.

Although it is a fact that the masses created the history, we also need outstanding individuals to stand in history as a hero. He or she is especially strong in some humanity like integrity, empathy, courage and loyalty, etc. We people have a tendency of copying heroes, so the moral virtue and ethical bottom line is pasted into our memory bank. In another word, the distinguished individuals still stand on the demand and requirement of the masses. For example, we usually think Winton Churchill lead England to defeat Germany and win the Second World War, but without Churchill, the fascist Germany will also be defeated because it was unjust, it is a necessity of history.

History, which has its own nature inside, is something happened in the past and we didn't see. "Seeing is believing", it’s hard to known exactly what it is, what the historian have done is to make the report approach to the reality. When we engage ourselves in history study, we should found a effective way to know what actually happened in the past and make it acknowledged by the public. It is more likely to be a story and the importance of history is to make our humanity gain a better understanding of our world and find our hometown of culture and nation.
