You can learn a lot about people by the clothes they wear.
While we truly have only a handful of practical reasons for wearing clothes, people today wear clothes for many other reasons.
In general, in our society, we “dress up”. We enjoy decorating our bodies with fine clothes, and name brand clothes, thinking they make us look better on they somehow improve us.
We certainly want others to have a good impression of us, and so we wear clothes as a way to influence what others think.
In a society that prizes appearance, this seems true. Of course we do often recognize certain people by their attire. For instance, the military, policemen, firemen, doctors, nurses, judges, etc. Each wears attire that allow us all to quickly recognize what they do and who we are.

Every child should be raised in a home with two parents.

Students learn best when they are actively involved in the process. Good leaders are made not born. If you have the desire and will power, you can become an effective leader.
Good leaders develop through a never ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience.
Leadership is a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more cohesive and coherent. Leaders carry out this process by applying their leadership attributes, such as beliefs, values, ethics, character, knowledge and skills. Leadership differs in that it makes the followers want to achieve high goals, rather than just simply bossing people around.
People want to be guided by those they respect and who have a clear sense of direction. To gain respect, they must be ethnical. A sense of direction is achieved by conveying a strong vision of the future.

People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

With the social advance, more and more students choose to continue their education in college or university after graduation from high school. Although made the same decision, they may have quite different reasons, some desired for new experiences, some for strong job competitively, others for broaden eyesight and so on. No matter what reasons support their decision, there is one theroy that all of them have to admit, which is that further education does provide them with all the advantages mentioned above, and no matter which is the dominating reason, they have considered all these advantages in mind before making up their decision.

Now let's consider the story from a different angle: why do they pursue these advantages? What's the significance for this decision? And what can we learn from this social action?

We know that in market system demand always decide the supply. And we can use the same principle to analysis this social action too.
There is an example: about forty years ago, when a big company advertise for a typewriter, it may write its requirement as below: familiar with typewriting, and without mention with school experience. But forty years pasts, now they may write their advertisement as: bachelor degree or above, experience prior considered.

Does a typewriter have to achieve bachelor degree, or he or she will be inadequate for the job? Of course not. The changing of the request comes with the progress of social advance. Even anyone familiar with typewriting can do the job well, the one with a bachelor degree
can do it better.
More and more available bachelor students can be gotten at a not high salary makes the companies tend to promote their requirement, and the promote of their requirement desires more and more students to pursue further education after high school graduation. That makes up a cycle.

I do not consider it as possible that any company will choose my community as the location for its new factory. For my community is at the center of the city, with the most expensive land and densest population. But, if there was a company made such a decision, I would like to support it, with both hands up.

First of all, a new factory means more job opportunities, either directly provided by the factory, or indirectly caused by small enterprises surrounding the factory. As there are so many young men energetic who are out of work and keeping disturbing the balance of the community safety, job opportunities will reduce the press ion on police system caused by them.

Secondly, a new factory willing to locate on such an expensive land as my community must have strong competitive ability on industry. So its profitable future will be out of question. And its location will bring in a large amount of tax income to my community government. With that money, the government can build new roads or broaden old roads to solve problems caused by crowded traffic. And health system in the city is also too old and needs to be improved. So every citizen in the city will benefit from it. I guess no one will refuse such a good chance.

As every coin has two sides, there may exist some disadvantages too. As the factory may exacerbate the environment problem of the city, for instance, increasing city noise that will have negative influence on citizens' living standard. But these can be avoided by setting up more strict standard on noise and emitting air restriction level and urging the new factory to obey.

To sum up all the above analysis, we get the conclusion that although with a little inconvenience, the new factory should be welcomed in our community as it can be ignored comparing with the large profits coming along with it.

My hometown is a little but beautiful city, with comparatively prosperous economic, comparatively convenient transportation system and comparatively comfortable environment to live in. Seems to have nothing that needs to be changed immediately, right? And that's what in the majority of citizens' mind. They do not want to bother themselves into changing anything in the city, and at the same time unwilling to see though the appearing lovable surface to get a deep down inside reality. "Since we are already good enough," they told themselves "there is no need for changing" and than keep on their leisure living.

But is that the true condition of our city? Our education system needs improving as our students' average level is getting down; our health system needs to be promoted for its old mechanical system; and our market needs more normative standard as unlawfully competitions exist. But no one wants to get into these trouble. That's dangerous in a quickly advancing society as today and in a complex country as in China.

So I consider the most important thing needed to be changed is the spirit attitude of our citizens. In order to achieve the goal, here are several suggestions as below.

First of all, the city government should invite several famous professors, outstanding entrepreneurs and other kinds of successful individuals to give speeches about their striving experience over the city. To tell the citizens what did they do when they are facing with such an OK level, and let them known that stopping at this point may cause an even more serious failure in nowadays competitive society.

Then a idea about pursuing better level must be taught to all the citizens through methods such as television advertisements and educational little stories. This theory is especially needed to be insert in our education system to prepare our children for their future.

What's more, discussions should be encouraged in different industries, in order to involve all citizens in finding underlied problems. And maybe a competition system to stimulate an enthusiasm among the citizens is practicable.

As I am not professional in social field, these may be all the advice I can provide. But I believe all these options as effective and needed to be put into practice as soon as possible to change the attitude problem lies in our citizens.
