     Issue185. Scandals—whether in politics, academia, or other areas—can be useful. They focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.

Widely dissemination of mass global media makes any news and information spread with a rapid speed. Scandals of public figures in any given area are reported frequently on television, newspaper, magazine and other media approaches. It makes many people take it for granted that scandals are a good way to supervise specialist. However, further reflection shows that the report of scandals also contain harmfulness.

First of all, no one can blind to the fact that scandals is a good method to supervise leaders such as presidents of a nation or company, or politics and so forth. In the politic sphere, with the impact of reporting Watergate in relative with Nixon who was forced to quite from president of American, form which we can realize that the scandals is useful for people discovery illicit action which may be right or legitimate on the surface. Then, there had to be another cause why I agree the arguer, and there was, with the help of communication technology, anyone cannot possess the fortuitous minds of which no one acknowledges the fact they do is harmful. Through this we can establish level in mind and remind ourselves now and then. Briefly speaking, scandals report may play an important role on rule scandals out of society.

Understanding that scandals are helpful is the first step to obtain advancement in the struggle to illegitimate behaviors; on no account should we assure the reporting about such aspects are accurate. Due to they may be false and strongly enough to destroy one famous people, in addition, with the rapid develop of communication technology, anything could be liven with every corner of the world in a short time without any impede, it is true that some of these information may be right but we cannot deny some is fraught of useless information. Numbers newspapers report the scandals of movie stars or singers just because their peccadillo of one word or only an action, it is unreasonable, “Every bean hath its black”. We should be avoid blindly believing in such report ad be careful to establish the fact relating to them before making any judgments.

Moreover, we cannot focus our attention on the scandals of one instead on the virtue may be impolitic. A compelling example is the most eminent athlete Michael Jordan, his imposing technology on playing basketball conquered millions of people, millions fans became crazy when looking the game. On the contrary, his gamble behavior was just a bad habit which can be eliminated. Would we deny such an ingenious athlete and push him out of the basketball game for such does? No doubt, if we ignore the problem, there is every chance may put ourselves in danger.

In sum up, though scandal report really important to our supervision, it still should contain some harmfulness, moreover it will also limit leaders to spend all the attention on their works.

Many factors influenced (这里用一般现在时好一点吧，毕竟是通常状况下，不是指过去的某一次) the behavior of politics and scholar and so forth. One of them is the scandals while the others are manger and moral standard. Insofar as the communication technology develop only one trial can bring about a drastically result, it make many person take it for granted that scandals is a good way to supervise specialist.
