正文：

   Undoubtedly people could learn one’s attitudes and interests, to a large extent, from one’s look, dress and act, therefore you can tell much about a society’s ideas and values by observing the appearance and behavior of its people. I agree with the above saying in the topic, but when we want you know the in depth values and ideas of the society, we should experience the culture and life of the society in person.

            

   Admittedly, people’s look, dress and act is the best symbol of their attitudes and interests. The preference in dressing effectively indicates people’s interests, for example, people who always wear nike shoes and addidas clothes are likely some sports lovers; people who always wear casual clothes like jeans probably love freedom in their characteristics; people who always wear formal clothes like suit must be some businessman or government officials. What’s more, people’s act also have the same effect to identify people’s interests and attitude. A simple evidence to support my view is that when you meet and talk to a person, you could know his hometown from his intonation, and know his education background from phrases and knowledge used in his words, or even know his job through his behavior in talking. When one see a man who counts money quickly and accurately, it is easily to make a conclusion that the man’s job must related to bank or accounting. Judging from this aspect, we could tell about people’s personality by their inclination in dressing and act.

            

   Futhemore, people’s behavior reflects their society’s values and ideas. There is example to illustrate my point.: As we all know, Chinese always be modest and courteous, they do not like to make a parade of their talents, sometimes they even pleased to give their chance to others. If one had studied Chinese history, he were to know modesty is a tradition of China which originated from Confucianism thousands years ago. Confucianism advocates propriety, righteousness,modesty and honour, which has well taken rooted in China’s society and become a inclination of China. So through observation of people’s behavior, it is convenient to find its society’s values and ideas.

         

However, to know the in-depth values and ideals, people should experience the society’s culture and life in person. People’s appearance and behavior are the exterior looking of people, though it can reflects, to some extent, society’s values and attitudes, to get a better understanding of the society’s value and ideals, you should experience the its culture and life. Just as you may know British people are always gentle by observing their appearance and behavior, but you will never know why they are so gentle unless you live in Britain for some years.

           

   To sum up, though observing people’s appearance and behavior is a convenient way to know society’s values and ideals, experiencing the society’s life and culture help us to get a deep and better understanding of society’s values and ideals.

The preference in dressing effectively indicates people’s（one’s） interests, for example, people who always wear nike shoes and addidas clothes are likely some sports lovers; people who always wear casual clothes like jeans probably love freedom in their characteristics; people who always wear formal clothes like suit must be some businessman or government officials（举具体的例子是不是更好呢？例如贝克汉姆的衣服是为了彰显他的时尚，阿拉伯国家国王的白袍、欧美传教士、亚洲僧侣体现其社会地位与信仰，甚至中国古代的平民只能“布衣”）. What’s more, people’s act（word说这里有语法错误，是不是把have改为action？） also have the same effect to identify people’s interests and attitude.
