这次的题目我觉得很奇怪。

When it comes to the question that whether it is realistic for people to work for only one firm or one employer or not, different people hold different viewpoints. As far as I am concerned, it depends on people's working purpose. For those who just need stable jobs, the answer is yes. While for those who work for their interests or their economic profits, working for only one boss is impossible.  

In the first place, there are a lot of people who want stable occupations. For them, working for one employer or one company is possible, as long as the company will not fall into the situation of bankruptcy. To those people, what they are searching for is just stable salaries and regular working time. Taking the officials for example, some of them just need jobs that can last to the time when they get retired. To these people, working for the government in their life only is realistic.

For those who want to work to satisfy their interests, working for only one boss is unrealistic. For them, interests are far more important than anything else. Once they have different goals and opinions with their bosses, they may get angry, and feel uneasy. As a result, they may give up the current jobs to find new ones that fit their appetites.

Another type of people, who are more critical about the working condition and appreciate considerable payments, may not working in just one company. For them, the profit outweighs everything that is relevant to the job. If another company pay them higher, it is of no reason for them to stay in the original place. We often hear news that some people jump to another company, that is the example of people who care only economic interests chasing for more profits.

Above all, working for only one firm or one boss is realistic for those who just want stable jobs. However, for people who want to satisfy their interests and care about money things, such faith is impossible. Hence, whether it is realistic or not depends on people's working purpose.
