Does the destiny of society depend on how children are socialized? And how to raise children who can bring about a better society? In the first glance, the obvious answer is that the development of industry and commerce determines the progress of a society; however , ignoring the background which maybe play a better role in influencing the society, such as humanity and moral , it is easy to draw a opinionated conclusion that the socialization determines the destiny of society. The answer to raising children also should be a thorough consideration , concerning with the fate of a better society.

First and foremost, I approve the statement that the development of society depends on the children without reservation, in respect that the children is our hope, as the law of nature. What is more, at the risk of sounding too simplistic, my main proposition for a health and all-faced society, can be summarized in one saying that the health development of children --not only the physical area but also the mental area, and only this can determine the fate of society. With the sound development, there is no doubt that when the sound generation grow up, the society will absorb the sound elites and erupt the ceaseless energy; without it, in contrast, the degeneration will happen, and another awful thing is that we will fall into a malignant circulation. As a consequence, in the area, when we humans need the next generation hold on and hand on our torch, the health development of children has been regarded as a necessity for the health development of a society. Let's bring our discussion here to a more present and practical context, it can be given out a concrete example: Helen Keller , the Miracle Worker , who could not hear and see, proved that she could communicate in the world of sight and sound, with her patient and persevering teacher ,Anne Sullivan. As a matter of fact, before the meeting with Sullivan , Keller was nothing but a self-abandoned girl; nevertheless , with the sound education, Keller struggle out from the abysm of depression successfully. And even now, many people are influenced by Keller and her composition. With the early sound education, although Keller is deaf and blind , she really grows up healthily and makes a great contribution to the society, a healthy society. From this example, we even can conclude that the mental aspect of a child maybe is far more significant, after all anyone is imperfect at least at the physical layer.

From the analytical perspective, another essential factor why I emphasize the importance of sound education involving the realm of physical and the realm of mental is that we overemphasize the    realm of physical , such as how many grade our children can get in the school, and how much our children can earn in the society,  belittling the realm of physical. In the realm of physical education, it has taken a long time to convince the public that the money is just a way to survive, not the goal we should pursue always, after all we live in a earthy world--without wealth , it is really hard to live on. Move on to deeper themes , mental education. As a complex matter, history is replete with evidence to demonstrate the essence of this point. A notable case in point has a association with early mental education. Diana , one of the celebrated and graceful princesses, in a fresh-faced , used her big blue eyes to fullest advantage ,melting the hearts of men and women , directly not to any individual but to the world especially victims suffering from  unfairness and bias, the sick suffering from AIDS , and homeless suffering from hungry and thirsty. As a celebrity royal , Diana could totally enjoy the expensive and comfortable life, ignoring the outside world. However, Diana gave it up, turned into saving and consoling the poor and the sick. Digging out the deep reason of that, we find that it is the early education by Diana's family who teach her ,"Money is the root of all evil" . In fact, a thorough consideration concerning with the mental education shapes the inner grace of Diana , and then we are not only influenced by her beautiful look , but also infected by her golden moral. It is no doubt to say that we need take more concerns with the mental education on our children , rather than focus on the physical aspect.

From the analyses made above, I strongly commit to the notion that we need call for a thorough consideration about the education on the next generation. Firstly, a healthy society depends on the healthy generation; secondly, the mental education should be focused more , in case of money worship which can make the society cool and inhumanity. In a word , the sound development of society depends on the healthy generation, especially the mental aspect which we often ignore. Now we can define a better society , as a balance between physical and mental development, which needs our efforts, never belittle or overemphasize each one. Try your best; we could be better pilots of our lives.
