Will the human mind always be superior to machines? It might be tempting to agree with the speaker, based on its reason that machines are produced by human beings. However, a far more compelling argument can be made that, people are more and more relying on machines, and probably cannot live without machines, but this trend should be controlled by people.

Admittedly, Human is different from other beings, because they have higher intelligence, and emotion. With them, people can produce tools, devices which are beneficial to them. In order to travel to more places with less time, we invented car, ship, and airplane, in order to further investigate the universe, we invented telescope, and in order to more conveniently communicate with each other, we invented phone, and then cell phone. All these tools are very important to our daily life, and we take advantage of them. Human mind is surely superior to these machines, because without humans, these devices is no use, and maybe tomorrow, humans would invent more useful machines to replace these ones, and they are out of use at that time.

Beyond this concession, however, I disagree with the speaker's claim because in my point of view, human mind will not surely always being superior to machines. We can easily see that people are more and more relying on the machines. Machines can easily do much more things which is impossible for people to finish. For example, calculator is enough powerful to do most daily calculations, computer now becomes a tool for almost everyone to read latest news, search for materials, and communicate with others, and papers and pens give us convenient to take some hints and tips any time at any place. I concede that all these things can be finished without such tools, while people are now accustomed to them, and don't want to live without them.

Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, in this modern society, many more machines are indispensible to us. We not only rely on them, but also live based on them. Without them, people would be confused and the whole world would become disordered. For instance, the power supplements, which are originated from predecessors now supply electricity to every house, every factory, and every building, and the financial market now primarily run on computers and Internet. We cannot imagine what our life would be without these necessary tools.

Finally, although we human beings cannot live without these machines, we should also try our best to take these machines and technologies in control. We need to be superior to them, or at least can manipulate them. Today more and more investigation and technologies become more and more harmful to us. Nuclear weapons are strong enough to destroy our living planet, Gene researches on human beings also challenge our moral and ethics, and high developed industry has brought severe impacts on the environment. In order to give our next generations a healthy living condition and fine society, human minds should try to be superior to machines.

In summary, I concede that every machine is produced by human beings, and become stronger and clever, or even make people cannot live without them. However in order to maintain this society, people should develop the machine in a controllable way and try to be superior to them.

个人感觉论证思路有问题。人类发明的各种现代化的工具的确有时候在速度、精确度等各方面超越人类，可是工具毕竟是人类设计的，那些计算方法、收索方法等都是人设计的，所以从智力的角度来说，工具不如人。上面这个文章第三、四段在说工具在某些方面超越了人类，可是题目说human mind,是否可以呢？作者没有提到。
