The society being more and more civilized, People might feel it hard to adapt themselves to the modern world. They become more worried about the next generation, who seem to take on the main responsibility of the future , and worried more about the proper ways to raise children, who are believed to be able to help bring about a better society. So people consider their children more important than ever before in many aspects . Government has taken lots of efforts to improve the living condition and educational environment of children. Children are required to attend as many social services as they could so that those who are competent in social affairs are considered to possess more potential capability. As a result, speaker may argue that how children are socialized today determines the destiny of society and we have no effective way to raise our children . However, after a scrutinized analysis, I totally hold opposite opinion with this assertion.

Admittedly, it is widely acknowledged that children are the hope of a nation's future. If children are provided with health environment, they can develop themselves well and will bring about a better society. In lots of cases, children are more curious than adults . They want to know everything that excites their interests or that they know little about. They accept and digest knowledge taught to them more quickly than the adult.

However, when it comes to some social sense, maybe our children's behaviours are far from satisfaction, even some of which give rise to deeply anxiety. They are being void of sympathy, the sense of cooperation and competition and falls to undertake the social responsibility actively. They are always immersed in their own world so that they do not know how to communicate with the peers. Maybe to most of them, everything is going well at home. Once they left home, there is nothing they can do. What is above all does no good for them.

However, the speaker indicate that how children are socialized determines the destiny of society which I cannot accede to. Socialization is one of the factors of the contributing a better society. Moreover, to contribute a better society involves in many values such as honesty, persistence, probity, kindness and so on.

The speaker claim that we have not yet learned how to raised children who can bring a better society. If we definite a "better"  society just means the highly socialization of the children,  maybe it is too arbitrary.  Once a scholar said that wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain,but there in the sandbox at nursery school where these things are learned. Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people...  Only if our children live a balanced life, they will socialize themselves unconsciously.
After all, every child has his or her own character. Some may adapt quickly. Some slowly. This is out of our control. What we should do whether in school or at home is to lead them a sane living and respect their will, thus a better society will come.

In conclusion, the development of the society cannot be designed previously, which need to be adopted and reformed by the fellows. So when the adult are worried about the future of their generation , they had better think what we can do for this contemporary society first rather than placing too much emphasis on children's kinds of indecent behaviours. After all, every child is an angel who is born with innocent which just need to be educated.
