In this dynamic world, a variety of problems every day haunt us. There are a great number people suggest that use other people for advice will be safe because other people have solved the question and the different experiences of others are valuable. I deeply doubt this. From my long years experience I have learned that placing hopes on others is wrong, even worse.
First of all, ask advice from others is not useful sometime. Especially ask advice from same ages. They have same knowledge and experience as long time school studied side by side. Since I was teenage, teachers and parents asked us be friendly with each other and help others when they need you. That's an over-idealistic, but hard to make it works. For instance, when I was going to choose school for later educate. I asked my best friends for advice. He told me Language University is good place, since there are plenty pretty than others. That's maybe wonderful, but not feasibility. 
On the other hands, sometimes elder’s views will not suite nowadays situation. After my own choice concluded by my own knowledge, I choose a Institute of Technology University. But later question comes towards me when I was going to find a job. My parent's advice is go back to my hometown no matter if I can find a job there or if the job is my favorite. Against my will, I went back. With two months inner struggle, I resigned and find a new job which is suitable as far as I know. That is my worst experience after ask for advice.
Further more, how could we deal with the friendship after their experience tends to a bad result, and how could we develop independence without self-reliance and hard work.
As far as I concern, it is worse to use own experience than ask others. Peers' advice may be not useful because of the same knowledge we have. Elder's advice sometime stand on their feet. Whether or not to adopt their views, we are likely face an embarrassing position.

感觉你有好多东西要写 但是表达上好像遇到了困难，还有用自己的亲身经历是好的，但是光用这个来说明asking for advice 是不好的，这个有点片面，要是有更好的论证过程就能弥补这个不足~~~一起进步~~~
