With the rapid development of society, the demand of individual knowledge is increasing at an incredible speed. A person working in a stock firm should be not only an experienced statist but also an excellent programmer. Let alone the prerequisite that he/she must have a financial degree. Thus, most people think that education is of great importance and individuals should be cultivated strictly at a very young age. With all aspects carefully considered, however, I still believe that the daily homework is not a necessity for students. ! @7 F5 p3 C5 N# R/ O2 _8 H# u- c; W

To begin with, students in the primary school should try finding their interests and then develop them instead of focusing on homework. As the proverb goes, interest is the best teacher. Lacking enthusiasm for a certain subject, how can parents hope that their children will learn well? Darwin, for instance, sometimes failed to pass his exams as a child and was thought to be a bad student by his teacher(in his teachers' eyes我觉得这样改好像好点). But he was really interested in the creatures of nature, devoting himself to observe insects’ behavior in (his)spare time. The low grade in his childhood did not affect his further study. It is the interest in biology that pushes Darwin to learn and publish his theory of evolution. 0 D; H- `/ K6 _

Also, daily homework could be a heavy burden for(to) children, which probably decreases their motivation in study, even causes psychological problems. The increasing pressure of homework may do harm to students' mental health. As a result, school‘s avoidance produces and the effect can last years, even lifetime. Now I still remember my desk mate, Xiaoming, who was bad at physics. He often felt nervous with the coming physical homework when last one unfinished(when he hasn't finished the last one). The more tasks the teacher assigned, the more stress he bornes. At last, pressure turned into hated and Xiaoming dropped off school regretfully. : i2 j* a* N, T1 v: [

Last but not the least, daily homework takes up most of the time in which children should share with their parents. The generation gap is a lack of communication somehow. Parents and their children should spend more time talking or enjoying themselves together, such as watching ‘Harry Potter’, visiting Disneyland, etc. Only by sharing time can parents and children know each other well and reduce the effect of generation gap.A harmonious relationship benefits both sides. Parents can concentrate on work without worry about their children, whereas children study joyfully under parents' encouragement. So, do not let homework dominate most of the quality time.

For what has been discussed above, we can reasonably reach the conclusion that daily homework should not be assigned so that children can have more time to develop interests freely and get together with parents. 我觉得还不错,就观点的力度好像有点不够,呵呵,我是这么觉得的,有问题可以跟我探讨的 |
