RISD 就Summer program提出要求，很恼火！

我想要waive那个summer program 6月 15号开学现在做签证也很紧啊，而且别的学校还在考虑中，不到个4月 10号我也拿不下主意啊。

原文如下：

I personally reviewed your portfolio and transcript and made thedetermination that you have not completed appropriate coursework inthese areas and that the summer program would benefit you. But I didthink your portfolio was strong. My sense was that you would benefitfrom this program nevertheless.

It seems to me that the problem that you have is the fact that yourcurrent coursework runs till the end of June and your language skillsare not where they need to be to fully utilize you education inenglish. If you can complete a ESL program elsewhere and raise yourTOEFL scores, I will be willing to waive the Foundation Studies portionof the Summer Studies Program. You must do this, however, by thebeginning of August. Otherwise I suggest that you defer your acceptanceto RISD's offer for a year. If you choose to defer, please contact theAdmissions Office for the proper procedures.

主要就是要求英语成绩吧，你现在ibt多少？真的很想去6月又去不了的话就考一次好了，好像8月之前搞定就行。至于决定，risd有要求415之前给信么？即使要求了应该也是可以argue的，大多数美国学校还是认415这个日子的。

另外6月15号开学签证也是完全来得及的，我去年也是6月22号开学，所以提前安排了答辩，5月19号面签。当然毕业典礼没去还是挺可惜的。

先别着急，这种事情总是一步步来的，以后麻烦事多了去了
