Have you ever complained about the arbitrary requirement of taking basic science classes in university life? Have you ever buried yourself in hundreds of mathmatic(mathematic) problems a whole day while still cannot find any clues about them? Have you ever questioned about the curriculum schedule of including basic sience classes even they have no(not) any business in you major? If you don't have such experiences, you would never know how brilliant the annoying the arrangement is of requiring students out of science department to take basic science classes. (开头很wonderful!)

Firstly, to the students who are not interested in science, taking basic science classes are synonymous with commiting(committing) suicide. Those students(‘) repellent feeling to basic science classes is stimulated by the overwhelming hatred toward science. Since the numble(number) of such "I-hate-science" students still remails(remains)

Furthermore, taking basic science classes is a great time-consuming task for a number of students. My friend Zara is an apt example of this point. As a freshman studies(studying) in clothing designing, she has to spend a huge amout (amount)of time in keeping pace with the latest fashion tendencies, while basic science classes which don't do any favor in her study often departing her away from kicking fashion magzines.(magazines) In order to maitain (maintain)her GPA which plays a decisive role in obtaining scholarship, Zara always have to bury herself in libary (library)a whole day trying to understand science theories. It is not unusual for students who are major in art, literature, or linguistic rush in and out to squeeze time in figuring chemical, physical, or mathmatic (mathematic)theories./ j- G4 M% Q, l |' d4 l/ C

Finally, we typically find basic science classes provide us nothing but impratical (impractical)and useless information. On accounting to the quickening pace of life, the ruthless and relentless competition goes increasingly fierce, imposing unprecedented pressure in each and every individual. Be challenged by the serious economic situation, making full use of every second in equipping ourselves with proffesional (professional) knowledge and skills is the frist (first)mission we face to. Its importance considerably outweights (outweighs)that of sparing time in taking basic science classes.& Z! ~7 }5 N7 y1 C& R- @

All in all, as a university student who are purely pursuing her interest, cherishing her time, and worrying about her future, I am basically oppose the viewpoint that every single student should be required to take basic science classes. To motivate, foster, and asist (assist)different personalities or talents is the ultimate purpose of university education, then, why bother to put every and each student into the jail of basic science?
