14. Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. Others believe that going to classes should be optional for students. Which point of view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer.  

Unuverstity is a place where people tend to get a high level of education. However nowadays people think they do not have to go to class. They thought it should  be optional and they can learn by themselves without teachers' help. As far as I am concern, actually going to class will be a lot more useful than you just sit there and learn by yourself.

Among the copious reasons, the first one I want to emphsize that teacher can give you more knowledge than you just read it in a book. Teachers know that which point is difficult to follow and how you can understand it in no time. Take me for example, I used to learn by myself and I find it fun to dig the knowledge you carving for. But after I finished learning to my teacher's easy version of the theory, I gained a totally different view of what I learned before. What's more, I not only have a better grasp for  what is said on the book with my teacher's help but also have time to spare for my pratice in class. I really regret that I spent so much time on find my own misunderstanding part. With those time wasted, I probably can finish study another chapter.

Another point worth mentioning is that learning at school can help you to know tons of people who have the same interest as you. The history is bound with that kind of examples. When Bill Gates was in college he met many people who is fasinating by the technology of computer. Most of them help him to develop the business after Bill quit school for his own company-Microsoft. At first it was only a tiny company that only contains Bill himself and few of his close friend. It is class that help Bill to know those people. Without those friends can he get such a huge success. College is not only for the knowlege.

To sum it up, going to is essential for students. Though you may find learn by youself is much more interesting, it is the merit of my suggest outweigh the disadvantages.

首先你得5分钟检查相当有问题。最后“To sum it up, going to is essential for students. ”自己看看吧……
有不少语法小错误，尤其是主动被动。
论点的确不一定要3点的。第一点如果你能把那个学科的名字说出来就会感觉稍微真实一点，比如说你在其年级的时候念哪门课……（逃课。。？）微软的例子有点走火。因为他正是退了学才开公司的。
总体上还OK啦，我觉得20以上没什么问题吧。不知道你要求多少了，呵呵。
