I think no matter where you are, and whatever you are doing, there are always different challenges and tough tests from life whether you accept them or not. one of the most powerful cognitive thinking ability I learned from psychology is always be aware of the 'problems' -- distinct those catastrophic thoughts from the self from external events, and never let your negative emotions be part of the problems. after all, life is tough in someway we may not like it, we stilll need to be tougher in order to go over them. soo.. add oil and pray for a little.

有没有本专业绩点不高，成功转到经济学或者商科方向的学长学姐呢？

有滴，一般都是自费，local同学多一点，目前有种比较流行的方式是做教授的full time RA，同时申请他的part time博士。...

瑞典的皇家理工学院的Chemical Engineering for Environment and Energy(QS 73，学费360000SEK)，德国的拜罗伊特大学的Battery Material technology(QS 448，免学费)，对于拜罗伊特大学，我比较喜欢电池材料这个专业，（本科阶段我有参与过一年关于醇氧化的科研训练项目，实验试剂的气味刺激性很强，腐蚀性也很强，所以我不大喜欢有机方向的研究）另一方面我很喜欢德国，而且少去近30万的学费，经济负担会小很多，对我的心理负担也会少。对于瑞典皇家理工，它的QS排名高，回国更好就业，但我更倾向于继续攻读博士，或许影响不是很大。另一方面，我前几天联系了学院里一位瑞典皇家理工毕业的老师，他说有机会可以推荐我去他之前的大组，或许读博会更加容易。

要不要为了title换学校重新申加拿大学签
我申请的是加拿大研究型硕士（不是phd！），还没决定是否要毕业找工还是继续读博，研硕是我用来做尝试的一个阶段，看看自己是否喜欢科研。
我最看重读研（or未来读博）时期的心理健康问题，不喜欢push的老师，也不喜欢压力大。我也很看重研究方向我是否足够有兴趣，不考虑方向是否冷门是否好找工作，我想做自己喜欢的事情，不然读研读博也没啥意义。
A导师来自ubc，年龄60+教授（男），是3.17找我面试，4.15给我发的email offer，4.25下正式offer。我可能不是他的首先，他愿意找我面试是因为我成绩比较好，面试时他说我大学数学类课程成绩高，问我想不想做偏理论的研究。联系上他的学生得知他人很好，不push，对科研很认真。
优点：学校排名好，导师学术能力强，与工业界connection强。
缺点：办签证有安调风险（可能导致推迟甚至无法入学），我感兴趣的研究方向和他主要做的不太一致，还需要反悔B导师
UBC的funding超级多，扣完学费每个月2200加币，每周TA12小时。
B导师来自uwo，年龄30+AP（男），去年11月份面试，面试完就说可以在申请流程中帮我。后来我申请完给他发邮件，他回复我的第二天就下offer了。在领英上联系了他的3个学生，两个研究生一个博士生，都夸他很好。
优点：已经下签，可以9月顺利入学，指导风格喜欢（自由度高），方向match，新ap发文章积极。
缺点：学校排名不高，connection弱，经验少。
funding扣完学费后每个月只有1000加币，每周TA10小时。
其实私心是想去B导师那里，感觉他人应该不错，研究方向也还算match，而且这么晚再拒绝他不太好，换到A去也还要重新申学签。但又觉得错过A这个学术大牛很可惜，他有业界connection，学校的title也好（虚荣心在作祟）
