high levels of a certain metallic element contained in various foods are strongly associated with people who migrated to a new place after childhood. Many of the bones found near the pots at a few sites showed high levels of the metallic element.

1. no efficient conections are proved as the arguer does not offer information about whether bones contained such metallic element are found only at sites where pots are uncovered. if metallic element in bones is identified in a more widespread area than pots are located, the conection between bones and pots are invalid.(ok~你驳的的是骨骼分析的方法)
2. even bones is firmly conected with pots, they can still be traded to these sites rather than by imigration. Perhaps merchants use these pots as container to store food, which contains the metallic element and are sold with pots together. Thus, people could have bought them both.(是对史前人的human skeleton分析啊~不是动物bones啊)
3. manual workers who made these pots can also brought them to many other places for sale. They could be living in their original villeges but make a living at areas where pots are found today.(这点怪怪的~既然pots trade走了,为什么还能在这些pots周围找到含有这种金属的bones?)

TOPIC: ISSUE25 - "Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requires real effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction-in other words, to make things as simple as possible."
WORDS: 534 (547)         TIME: 00:45:00          DATE: 2009-8-16 10:21:29
(daily lives: efficient)
(NASA, accountant)

People having been always seeking for a perfect way to deal with the things they encounter. solve problems once for all.It is human nature to simplify things, which is effective most of the time; however, there is no a fixed model.

Admittedly,还没改啊? it is necessary to simplify things even though they are not that plain. Especially in our daily lives, we want to be more effective and efficient; as a result we find the most crucial parts out and concentrate on the few issues. Such simplifying process can, to a large extent, save our time and energy, and thus we could focus on other issues. We make the washing machine so that we do not need to do the laundry by our own hands; we invented the mobile phones so that we do not need to wait days and nights and even months to hear our parents' voice; we create the Internet so that people can now enjoying sitting in front of the screen, clicking the mouse and waiting for the goods they have purchased to be delivered to their own places. Our keen desire to simplify the things serves to push the world move forward.

Digging into the process of our learning and recognizing things, we would discover that most of the time, different people's view on disparate things share something in common: from the very beginning, they have so little ideas of the new issue that they regard it as obscure and complex; when they spend some time doing researches on it, they may probably find some rules and begin to take it as a piece of cake; whereas, as they go further, they are startled to find that they should not have been that happy for the project is not that easy as they imagine.APPLAUD! In reality, there are many factors they failed to consider before; so they do more researches--this is a cyclic process. In other words, whether things are simple or not depends on the degree that people master it. Even a seemingly easy and tiny thing deserves to be explored for the reason that after the research, people may find a new world. Take a vivid example. Da Vinci was made to draw the most "simple" eggs when he started to learn to paint. He was confused about the order made by his teacher at first. The wise teacher told him that the egg seems rather simple, but the lines and the shadow of every egg were different. The teacher was brilliant; she established the foundation of painting of Da Vinci. Indeed, only when one manages to draw an egg well enough can one accomplish other senior tasks. In this sense, even if facing a "simple" task, we should not take it too careless.

Furthermore, sometimes excessively simplify would trigger mistakes and even tragedies. If driven by the "simplify" nature, the researchers in NASA dare to ignore some minor problems on the satellites or rockets, the astronauts could face huge disasters and even their lives would be threatened. If an accountant dare to neglect some seemingly "useless" data, the overall budget would not be in balance.
In sum, to make things simple is the natural wish of human beings. But simplify is conditional: not all the time could people afford to make things simple; otherwise, it would lead mistakes.
