TOPIC: ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

The aim of education is to enlighten people and to teach people knowledge , moral , and especially how to be a independent individual. However , various individuals have so different personality that education can never be effective when it meets millions of needs of individuals. And we should design education to meet most of students firstly and  try to satisfy  the unique needs of  each students later.

Undoubtedly, every nation has one  curriculum for most of the students. It is easy to imagine that if every student want to has his of her own class , there must a dividedly classroom  and a  private teacher for each students. And it is a heavy burden for government. Thus , it is useless to built  schools and colleges and students can go home for their free education. Except for economic puzzles , unique education will not be functional about the ability of communication with each other while common education can bring students more chances to change their ideas while in  a public class when they talk about the same topic in classroom. Absolutely ,when education is designed trivially  , students never share a topic that can converge their interests.

Moreover , needs and interests seem seldom possible to meet at the same time. When we talk about our interests , we dream to be a scientist like Einstein ,to be a singer like Michael Jackson and to be a leader like Abraham Lincoln . Meanwhile , when we return to reality , we must to settle the problems  that how to get a agreeable job after graduation , how to collect money to buy our own house and who is my future fiancée . Usually , interests and needs are never be meet together especially to us common people. And education cannot yet provide students both needs and interests . The only thing that education can do is teaching the living skills to students while arose interests of students. And each student choose who he or she will be in the future.

However , each individual has his or her own character. Teachers must know the  character of each student in the class and use different teaching approaches to interest each student especially some gifted children as well as some stupid children . Only the consideration of the differences of each student can make the education in the class more effective. Albert Einstein was treated as a idiot when he was in his primary school. However , Einstein became the most famous physics scientist in the 20th  century. The teacher of Einstein in primary school failed to discern such a elite and even thought him a stupid one. It is our fortune that Einstein didn’t lose his confidence to be a great scientist rather than be distressed and lose his talents. Consequently, teachers should understand the students clearly in the class and treat each student differently based on different personality of each student.

All in all , only after the maintenance and stability of education which meets majority of students , we can focus on the unique needs of students as well as some talent students. And only such a scheme can be effective for our education.
