Newspapers can truly help people understand world events. Television news doesn’t provide enough information.



Currently, as main media, both newspapers and television have played a crucial part in our daily life, making us know about the world events happening. Which one gives us a better understanding about world events, newspaper or television news? Different people have different opinions just as finger prints vary. Personally, I maintain the point that television news are more important than newspapers in providing news and helping us understand events.

To begin with, considering some incomparable advantages of television such as having sounds, pictures, television news are more active, objective. The news reported are using live pictures to talk which can make audiences more convinced. At the same time, compared with newspaper, audiences can see what happened, not just the words, but the sound from the persons interviewed. So, these events are not just the words edited by reported, but happening in some corner of the world. However, the news depicted by newspaper are always added some imagination or some subjective comments of editors. It is highly possible that these contents will distort the events self.

Furthermore, we have more and more TV programs which can be chosen as a result of the development of TV technology. In fact, there are some TV channels which specially focus on the world event. There are not only reporters but also cementers. Thus, the new included in the newspaper must be reported by TV. In other words, perhaps TV can contain more information. Besides, generally speaking, the news updated in TV is more timely than newspapers since the newspaper needs time to print. Also, basically, its issue time is stable. It is not possible for newspaper that once the world event happens, it will print the newspaper. On the contrary, the TV can do this point. So, if we want to know more information, what we need to do is open it and enjoy it.

In brief, I do not oppose that newspapers give some information about world event. As far as I am concerned, however, in order to obtain more information and understand world events, I would rather choose TV news channel.

news是不可数的，后面用is

证明自己的reason的时候，最好用example来说明，来回来去说一个观点没有意义。

首段和尾段最好点一下题。

总的来说不错，可以拿4~4.5分。

比较忙，看的比较hasty，不好意思。
