Although people have different criterion valuing success, success is the only goal of most of them in their whole lives. We may acquire the way to success when study at school or in our careers. We may deal with all the problems well in the road leading to success. But few of us can make good use of it even after understanding its real meaning and getting it. So I am agree with this statement.

At first, people who search for success work hard and try a variety of ways to reach the criterion of success in their mind. Most of us are educated and infused the concept of success as young boys or girls. With the help of the teachers and parents, or even the public, children develop and acquire all kinds of means leading to success. In all fields, there are numerous successful people paying their effort to get outstanding achievement. They take in all the knowledge and experience of their grand old man and develop them; they doubt the existed phenomenon and then explore their own thought with supposal and experiments; they also try a variety of ways to acclimatized themselves to the development of the societies; then, at last, they taste all favors of lives and become the successful ones. For the charm of success, so many people devote themselves to the careers they interested in and contribute to the improvement of this world.

However, they usually indulge in the success they got and do not know how to transcend themselves, or even stain their former success. Firstly, it is hard for them to get the success and they value it so much that someone may doubt himself or herself gaining a great success once more in future. It is possible that we just make one success in our whole lives, but we should have the brave to face this fact, even as a mediocrity all of our lives. Second, they indulge in the pleasure of success and lose the confidence to endure the loneliness of explorer as they once experienced. Third and fundamentally, most persons search for success in order to gain the prerogative and money, or good reputations. After they get these benefits of success, they do not concern their interests much and would not take pains any more.

Adversely, few make good use of their success, gaining the space to get another success. The great success should not become the hinder of our next goal but the drive of the greater success. For example, Edison discovered an important metal and used it in the investment of light bale. He gained the authorization of public and work hard to invest other applying things more than a hundred. And another example is Bill Gates. His possession is countless while the business is expanding increasingly. He also makes a great contribution to the welfare fund and gains the good reputation. These actions win him the support of public and help the Microsoft dominate the world market. As is the saying” the successful wealthy businessmen work for their continuity of their careers but not the wealth itself.”

As statement above, I make the conclusion that many people cannot make better use of success even though they have the way to get it. It is worthy for us to think carefully the meaning both of success and our lives. Whatever success we got before is not the ultimate result of our lives. The sages always make better use of the former success and create a greater one.
