As far as we know, human beings occupy thetop level of the creature chain and are the most intelligent organism on theearth. Therefore, naturally speaking, I am in favor of the author’s assertionthat land should be preferably reserved for human rather than for endangeredanimals.

It is undeniable that human make most ofthe contributions to the development of many aspects of the world after theappearance of civilization such as in the field of industrialization,globalization and etc. With the increasingly growth of the economy, more andmore space is needed for human to exploit and utilize. Although some of theexpansion of the development will threaten the habitats of animals, ecologistsare attempting to cope with these thorny issues and have applied someprotection areas to breed and protect the endangered animals. For instance, in Sichuan province in China, there have been some regionslike Wolong Protection Area in which pandas can freely live, play andreproduce. Thereby, government may utilize some land for real estates,factories and utilities without destroying the reservation area of animals,which results in the development of local urbanization.

Moreover, it is the fact that someendangered animals are the result of nature selection and inevitably extinct inthe biosphere. Human is also the periodical product comparatively to the longhistory of the earth and it is likely that we can do nothing to avoid theextinction of dinosaurs on the earth. The governments and populaces shouldfocus on the more efficient, environmental development of the world other thanthe overemphasizing the protection of endangered animals. Admittedly, animal isone factor in the whole creature chain and contributes to the delicate balanceof eco-system. However, the precious energy is so limited in the world and cannot be squandered to protect or reserve some animals that are supposed to dieout. The more wise thing human should do is to hold the strategy of sustainabledevelopment and try to preserve the current animals which are still alive orthriving. In Copenhagenin 2010, many presidents, scientists and experts raise the notion oflow-carbon. It is not only the theory of sustainable development but also thelife style of anyone in the world.

Last but not the least, the population ofthe world is increasing over and over and exploded after the World War Two. Thereduction and limitation of land area is the necessity of society development. Inthe case that many fields are restricted by the decrease of land, it is relativelyridiculous that human reserves more space where animals live first. Expansionof human’s activities is indeed the enclosure of land. However, it is not theunplanned taking up the land. We follow the scientific blueprint to effectivelyutilize the limited land and guarantee the benefit of human development.Simultaneously, it does not do harm to animals to keep their own habitats. Onlyif is fortified science and technology with adequate resources and energy,human beings can raise the efficiency of the usage of space and land so thatmake the world more harmonious between inhabitants and animals on the earth. InDubai, thehighest landscaper locates and in some day the three-dimensional applicationwill dominate any aspect of the life such as the solid transportation network.

In a word, government should give the priorto human beings to reserve land for development and improvement. In spite ofsome cost or sacrifice that can not evade, this is the principle of whichsociety advances. Therefore, more modernized the society is, more benefit thehuman and animals gain.

It is well known that Practice makes Perfect is one of the most famous sayings in the world. As for me, I partially agree with it. The factors determining success are not only related to the amount of practice you have taken, but also to the reasonable plans you have made and followed. Therefore, I totally argue against the author’s statement.

First of all, we should give the accurate definition to better and effective. What is so-called better and effective education in the eyes of the author? Weren’t it better or the best for students if they attended classes for a whole year without any break? However, we should consider the ability of endurance of students and how the knowledge is imparted and digested. A better and effective education does not mean the longer period during which students stay in class but the efficiency of acquiring knowledge and better results in which students put knowledge into practice. There are so many educational tragedies happening in China that teachers highlight the high quality of education that students gain. In the past, teachers just desired students to do more assignments and spent more time on reciting and obtaining formulas and answers. Nowadays, on the contrary, they put emphasis on the process that how students learn and response. Hence, the fruition of education reformation is remarkable in China. Students won many prizes in the international competitions such as the Robots World Cup and Olympic Games in Math.

Moreover, the key point of better and effective education is concerned with teachers. It is universally acknowledged that teachers occupy the most significant status in the educational process. They inspire students with exploring the unknown world and kindle students with the interests in studying and exercise. There are many great teachers who unreservedly enlightened their students what they knew. Confucius, for instance, is one of the most famous educators and philosophers in China. His ideal thoughts and excellent virtue impressed his students deeply. Some students of Confucius contributed much to cultures and traditions of Chinese history. Till now, his ideology has been influencing south-east Asia, Africa, Europe and America. Therefore, teachers are the important roles we should not ignore or look down upon. They should be given the better atmosphere and situation to educate students in order to forge the better talents for the countries rather than the unfair treatment in some regions of the world.

Finally, whether students gain a better or effective education is also determined by students themselves. Admittedly, teachers should somewhat assume responsibility for educational errors. Yet, even if the winners of Nobel Prize take in charge of the class, it is impossible for students to become talents without any hard working and persistence. If students themselves desire a better and effective education from schools, they necessarily concert their work with teachers’. It is wise that students actively response to teachers’ questions and feedback their confusions and problems and make the personal scientific plans for studying. Only if is interested in studying and actively acquire knowledge students, they are really able to enjoy the better and effective education. A famous saying tells us that interest is the best teacher. So students also play the important role in the educational procedure and are interdependent with teachers.

In conclusion, we should clear what a better and effective education is and how to realize it. As I discussed above, efficiency, better practice, good teachers and active students are the factors that determine the successful education, not the time spending in class or mechanical accepting knowledge. From my standpoint, education is the crux of the society’s prosperity. Every country should stress it for the future development.

Homework as a method to test the quality of acquiringknowledge of students is accepted by most of the society regardless any form ofthe constitution. From my point of view, I advocate that daily homework is thenecessity for students.

There is no denying that teachers are therelatively professional well-trained people comparatively to students especiallythe pupils. Students whose mental and physical conditions are immaturesometimes lack the ability of self-control, even if adults might lose theabstention themselves. In this case, accordingly, homework has a certain effectthat other can not be supplanted. One reason is that teachers in the eyes ofstudents are strict and not defied. The homework assigned somehow becomesobligatory to students. If not finishing and handing in it on time, studentswill feel greatly embarrassed and frustrated in class as if they committed ahuge crime, which will hasten students to keep the step with the assignmentsand the orders of teachers. Also as I discussed above, teachers grasp the morescientific plans and the processes for students. What they assign to studentsdoes not follow their own inclination but the experience which they havegathered or inherited for years. The essence of the daily homework, such as thereciting and reading which looks so easy that students usually ignore them, isindeed the painstaking efforts of teachers for students. Only insisting doingdaily homework, can students gain more experience from teachers.

In China, somescholars say that fewer masters appearing in this region is the tragedy for China which hasa history of 5000 years. Adolescents can not quietly concentrate on theacademic publications and classic theories, on the contrary, concerning thestock information and politics. Unfortunately, this is the verylack for modern people living in a changeful society. The unprecedented burdenand pressure cause them turn out to be a lost sheep and not to find the realdirection in the future. The serious film acts as a carrier that directors oreven the actors express their inspirations and ideology which are resonant withthe audiences’. Generally, almost all the serious films are positive, optimisticand along the morality of mainstream. After pondering the assertion of the author in many aspects, Icompletely argue against it. In my point of view, different people should makedifferent decisions on whether they live in the city all life or move to otherplaces.

It is admittedly claimed that the elders orpeople who has retired had better live in one place all life. The reasons areas follows. First, the physical functions of the old people are degrading fromyear to year. It is the fact in Chinathat one fatal cause among elders is the brain bleeding which kills thousandsof hundreds people a year. Hence, they should quietly or steadily live in aplace where they are adjusted to and familiar with. Once they have some seriousillnesses, there is not much delay for them to cure or do the surgery. Thus,lives are saved. What’s more, nowadays, there is a phenomenon called Empty Nestwhich triggers serious psychological problems to old people who always livelonely without children. Fortunately, a simple method handling this issue isthat talking and sharing with other elders. In China, we can see an interestingpicture that many elders play chess and cards with joy and laughter. If eldersmove to another place, they might readapt the new environment and residentsaround them. Losing old friends make them upset and depressed. Most of elderswill give the definitive answer to whether they will move. The answer is definitelyno.

Whereas, as the younger people who have toobey the strategies of corporations, it is better for them to move. Currently,the competition is drastic in the job market. Taking risks and challenge really attract young people who want toaccomplish what they dream. It is more likely that they following theirideality travel throughout the world in the lifetime. Take one of my friendsJohn as an example, he finished the undergraduate study in China and then pursued the master degree in Americafrom 2007. On May 2010, he graduated and hunted a job in Germany. What anamazing track he walked along. Perhaps next minute, he will fly to Africa andappear in Australiaten hours later. This is why now people say the world is a small village. Wecan also suppose that people will establish the habitats in other planets inthe near future. Instead, the blue planet will become the backyard.

In a word, different people have differentopinions on whether to move. I strongly hold the views that elders peopleshould live in the relatively stable surroundings while young people can moveif they plan to in order to seek the better opportunities in the changefulworld. In the future, with the fortifying of science and technology, the spacetime is not the problem to interfere the communication and connection withothers even the outer space.
