Hi and thanks for your question. We accept students from all over the world. We don't consider one country's degree over another. Most international applicants apply to the LLM program, so just be sure your reasoning is strong for applying to the JD program as it is a longer program.

Wow, Anne answered the question well. I would like to thank you for your professional answer on behalf of GTER. I also have a question to ask questions: what qualities do you most admire the applicant? What kind of ability can be more competitive for his application.

We can certainly update your review with your new TOEFL score once you have it. Please be sure to email our admissions team at gipadmissions@law.usc.edu to let them know you are taking the TOEFL again and that you will send your score as soon as you have it - so they can flag your file accordingly. Our students normally have TOEFL scores of around 100, but that still varies, so just do your best and submit your new score and we'll go from there. Good luck on the test!

Thanks, the questions have been quite good! We really take all applications into consideration as a whole. I know it's a tough answer for international students to hear, but American schools really want to consider everything together. GPA and TOEFL are very important, but we also take into great account the personal statement, resume/CV and letters of recommendation. There is no one part that is not important!
