51. "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

  

教育只有被专门设计来满足每一个学生个人需求和兴趣的时候才是真正有效率的。

Student-oriented education is the most effective way to make students perfect. Most of people focus on the topic of people oriented at present which mentioned for education is called as student -oriented. Though a large number of curriculums are needed for the purpose of providing students with a comprehensive learning, it is better to consider the students’ special taste in the education.

Regard the students as a center; they will be more motivated to study. They really need an effective way which tries to orientate them towards the individual areas they are interest in.

First of all, compared with the traditional teacher-oriented education, student-oriented is not only to learn the courses, but to fully understand them as well. This view is more beneficial for students to make a positive way, and to arouse their great enthusiastic for the individual researching. The traditional one often neglects the interests of each student then lead to a minus effect. When students feel centered, it makes a contribution to inspire their potential and make them spare no effort on study. Education institutions could set up much enough elective courses for students to choose, then cultivate their individual needs, not make the students stand upon the traditional prescriptive books.

What is more, it often emphasis that people should spent times on specialized studying to rich himself and make progress for professional activity, such as professional research, or employment in variety of higher positions in society jobs. One who is not truly know his specialized field, the knowledge he grasped cannot be summed up a systems, and just some concepts, without focus on any one, he will face to become a dilettante with lacking significant knowledge in any single area to miss the bus. That is to say, they will find the valuable offer for lower percent.

However, it is unpractical for education to meet everyone’s interests and needs, because it is hard to make everyone satisfied. The current education condition cannot afford sufficient resources, such as not every college could build a luxury golf ground for the minority students who are talented in golf. Some of the students even don’t know what they are really interest in. The truth is the more they learn, the more definitely they realize. And children’s minds will even change for no reason. But on the contrary, the traditional teacher-oriented education may plough under some pupils’ talent.

In the final analysis, education institutions (schools, colleges,) need to try their best to improve the traditional education mode, they had better to design a more comprehensive system in order to meet the demands of most of the students. For the above reasons, student-oriented education is the most effective way to make students perfect. But it is unreasonable to meet everyone’s taste, so we need a balance way to arrange the education development in the future.
