Some people think that a sense of competition in children should be encouraged. Others believe that children who are taught to co-operate rather than compete become more useful adults.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

There be much discussion revolving around the issue of whether children should be encouraged a sense of competition or a sense of cooperation. Personally, I am in favor of the latter view.

It is evidently reasonable for some to argue that children should be encouraged a sense of competition. It seems that keen competition has became one of the most important characteristics of modern society. The sense of competition that children was encouraged from their childhood., would make them became adults that think independently and critically. Furthermore, it develop a strong sense of responsibility and strengths one’s self-esteem. However, some individuals worried about that children who taught competition without the sense of cooperation, will tend to be unsociable and even indifference.

On the other side of debate, children who are instilled more co-operate will develop a broader mind, better social skills. Specifically, association produces person who have cooperation skills such as thinking on the others’ position. In additional, the sense of cooperation can make children more adaptable and learn master interpersonal skills needed for further success.

In conclusion, considering the all-round development of children’s mind and avoiding they become the individuals who are isolated for the lack of contact with others. I convinced that children should be instilled the sense of cooperation rather than compete.
