题目：As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.
要求：Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

提纲：
总的观点，科技进步不仅不会降低人思考的能力，反而会加强。
第一，科学技术节省了我们的时间，帮我们完成了很多日常的杂事，让我们有精力去做更有价值的事情，比如思考。
第二，科学技术创造了计算机等辅助工具，提高了人类的思考能力，可以去解决更加复杂的问题。
当然必须承认，如果不当使用科学技术或者过于依赖科学技术，人的思考能力会下降。比如，让小学生使用计算器而不先教给他们算数法则。

   The speaker asserts that as people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate. It is true that in some cases of inappropriately using technological tools, humans’ thinking ability is likely to decline. Nevertheless, if we take full and suitable advantage of technology, our ability to think for ourselves can be significantly enhanced, which in turn invent more advanced technological tools for humans.
   On the one hand, with the help of modern technological tools, humans have saved much time to focus on more important and difficult problems which deserve more consideration. For example, because of the invention of the telegraph, we do not have to go for ourselves to tell someone the information that we want to inform them with. The creation of mobiles has saved us a lot of time from going to work and back home, which makes us have more time to think about scientific problems. And without the help of lamps or electric lights, we are not able to work at night, which surely reduce our time to think. Thus, technology has not only facilitate our life and enhance our living level, but also free ourselves from many things which need to be done by ourselves before, thus making us have more time to solve more important problems worth our consideration.
   On the other hand, the technological tools has not only extend the areas humans can observe but also the areas people can change, which can greatly enhance human’s thinking ability. Consider microscopes, for example, which enable humans to observe more tiny things which cannot be seen by humans before. Through observing the behavior and structure of bacterium, humans are now able to develop many means to cure infection. Besides, it is the computer that change the way people think. With the help of computers, we can easily complete the immense task of calculations which would cost us much time and are likely to be incorrect without computers. Computers have greatly enhanced humans’ ability of calculating as well as thinking, which is essential for humans to solve the difficult scientific puzzles. And in turn, our enhanced ability of thinking makes more advanced and useful technological tools possible.
   Acknowledging many aspects that technology can benefit our thinking, these technological tools can undermine our thinking ability, if employed inappropriately. For example, it is not advisable to allow pupils to use calculators before teaching them basic principles of calculations, which is definitely harm for pupils to understand the process of calculating.
   In sum, technology can indeed do harm to people’s thinking ability if unwisely employed. Nevertheless, if we judicially utilize technological tools, which can save us much time as well as make humans think more effectively and thoughtfully. And in turn, our enhanced ability is sure for us to create more advanced technological tools.

这几天貌似没有作文小组招新，但已经有好几个童鞋求小组了，自己建一个小组吧；或者找个也是求被拍的帖子，先拍下别人的作文，然后留下这个帖子的链接，等回拍

恭喜楼主踏出了第一步，我也是考8G，昨天刚写出第一篇ISSUE，接下来可能没有足够的时间练习了。

我觉得先阶段不是练多少篇ISSUE，关键是把握写ISSUE的思路。

由于我们8G复习时间有限，写作能力可能在短期内无法提高很多，我们应该把精力放在更重要的部分，比方说VERBAL，ARGUMENET上面。

我觉得你文章思路很明确：你从正反两方面入手，分别论述了如果正确利用科技，怎会提高我们的思维能力，反之则否，这种论述方式很常见。

如果能改用其他的论述方式，可能会让人耳目一新！
