记得robin神的帖子和张涵的那本书上都说，第1题最好只答一点然后用细节去支撑它

但是像这种题怎么破？Some schools require students to finish a reading list during school breaks. Talk
about the advantages and disadvantages of this requirement

是不是一定要把优点缺点都讲一讲？

不需要，只说一点即可，比如说优点，应该是这样的
step1 给出一个原因，比如reading之后你的英语水平提高了。
step2 举出一个例子，比如你大一英语很差，你按照学校要求做了reading之后，大二英语提高很多
这样就可以了，关键是例子。
我在亦鸥上听很多同学，都把Task1和Task2说成了议论文，其它ETS的要求是记叙文，因为大部分题目明确要求detail, examples 而不是argument.
因此关键是说好例子

我觉得能兼顾是最好了，我在我帖子里有写到这类的题

advantages and disadvantages of students watching tv in dorms

i think allowing students to watch tv in dorms has both advantages and disadvantages. for the good part, watching tv is a beneficial way for students to get information on global news and current events. it helps to entertain students in their free times too since you can watch shows and movies. however, there are negative parts to it too, like it will be too distracting to have a tv around when you need to study for an exam or work on your homework. my roommate had to move her tv out because she said she spend too much time on it that it bothers her she can't finish her work every night.

思维模式和一点论相同，观点+展开解释+例子或细节，只是例子需要浓缩精练。无论是一点论还是两点论，都需要能支撑你观点的例子和细节。

当然，能说好一点也很不错，不过这种题目的要求我觉得还是能至少两面都提到为妥。
