From my point of view, there is considerable benefit for travelling in a foreign country. Everyone could recall the experience the first time they stepped into a foreign country, exciting or expecting? Thrilling or unforgettable? Undoubtedly people possess more advantage during the journey overseas.
It is a precious opportunity for travelers to contact with the native and fantastic scenery which you are incapable of accessing in domestic places of interest, not to mention to make more international friends helping yourself broaden your own horizon and obtain endless happiness. Taking myself as a example, when I was about 20 years old, my Dad took me to Hongkong for short travelling. As a girl from a relatively poor area, Hongkong’s advanced traffic facilities and developed public culture, especially their gentle manners which imprinted me greatly. On the flight back to my hometown, I got acquainted with a Taiwanese scholar and in consequence we became good friends. From then on ,both my parents and I realized the significance of education and encouragement for youth to make up his /her mind to get a worldwide vision.
Travelling in foreign country is not only limited to developed areas but also economically lagged countries. Do not isolated yourself in your own small world, do not lack bravery to confront with frustrations for there exit many people who are starved,cold, horrified during tremendous distresss brought by war. If you give a trip to these areas, to treasure the days we are having stands first and to give a hand to them as well as bridging the poor and the rich by your effort to get more charity makes big sense. The value of travelling abroad lies on less personal aspects and more integrity respect.
I have to admit the view of more expense and time on the travelling overseas, however, with consistent renovation of traffic tools such as planes, the world is smaller ,meaning time spent on flight journey etc. is shrinking and sometimes tickets are as expensive as ones of inland.
So do not hesitate for a marvelous overseas trip.
