Hospital statistics regarding people who go to the emergency room after roller skating accidents indicate the need for more protective equipment.  Within this group of people, 75 percent of those who had accidents in streets or parking lots were not wearing any protective clothing (helmets, knee pads, etc.) or any light-reflecting material (clip-on lights, glow-in-the-dark wrist pads, etc.).  Clearly, these statistics indicate that by investing in high-quality protective gear and reflective equipment, roller skaters will greatly reduce their risk of being severely injured in an accident.

interesting if the skaters were grouped into those wearing no gear at all, those wearing protective gear only,
those wearing preventative gear only and those wearing both.  These statistics could provide skaters with a
clearer understanding of which kinds of gear are more beneficial.

One good example of why specialists are not overrated is in the medical field. Doctors are necessary for people to live healthy lives. Sometimes, though, a sickness may go beyond a family doctor's knowledge or the prescribed treatments don't work the way they should. When a sickness progresses or becomes diagnosed as a disease that requires more care than a family doctor can provide, he may be referred to a specialist. For instance, a person with constant breathing problems that require hospitalization may be suggested to visit an asthma specialist. Since a family doctor has a great deal of knowledge of medicine, he can decide when his methods are not effective and the patient needs to see someone who knows more about the specific problem; someone who knows how it begins, progresses, and specified treatments. This is an excellent example of how a generalied person may not be equipped enough to handle something as well as a specialized one can.举例论证专才的重要性。

Another example of a specialist who is needed instead of a generalist involves teaching. In grammar school, children learn all the basic principles of reading, writing, and arithematic. Thus in order to live a comfortable and peaceful life, some people took a dangerous way, the way to participate in revolution. Before the American civil war, numerous black slaves in the south lived in a miserable life. In plantations, the owners abused them and at most times they had to work too many hours in the daytime but could even not have a full stomach. Abraham Lincoln the 16th president of the unite states thought he has the duty to emancipate those black slaves, to abrogate the slavery. After 4 years of hardship, the north finally succeeded in the civil war. No one can imagine the cruelty of the war, probably there were somewhat extreme means, and however, the justifiable war benefited incalculable black people.

On the contrary, however, what worthy means is not clear. Common sense tells me that folks from different culture value things in different criteria sometimes they may draw entirely opposite conclusion. What's more, some criminals ignore laws and moral principles just to reach his/her unfair desire. In World War two, Hitler unjustifily attributed the difficulties of German to Jew. So his claimed to kill all Jew to prospect the economy of Germany. For this reason, millions of Jew is killed in many kinds of inhuman means. To get away from his cruel persecution, some Jew escaped from German or even European to American for a safe life. To my dismay, the major part of Jew lived in a nightmare. What's worse, Hitler set up his mind to dominion the whole Europe. During the war time, nearly the whole Europe was under a bloody phenomenon. Nowadays, no one would consider hitter’s actions are justifiable, while in Hitler’s mind, it was his worthy goal. Therefore, without a clear definition of worthy, the statement cannot be confirmed.

To sum up, we could not only put our eyes on the result, but to take more significant factors into account. Procedure is as fundamental as the final. In addition, only if we get more information about the criteria could we draw any efficacious verdict.

In a quickly changing world, individuals will confront more tough problems in their life. At this time a controversy that we have a myriad of choices in our life arises. As far as I am concerned strongly support the statement for the following reasons.

First and foremost, as an old saying that “no one could force you to do things that you should not do ", we can have a myriad of choices in our own lives. One’s mind is full of desires, thus when one wants to make his/her dreams come true, he/she would try best to realize them. In this way, numerous things could be chosen. People determine their believes, their career, the schools where they study. For example, the first Chinese prime ZhouEnlai, set up his mind in his youth that it was his career to flourish China which in that time was a undeveloped country and was invaded by other nations. When he held this dream, every day he studied hard in order to make great progress. Finally, after tens of years, a new china was born owning to thousands of thousands individuals' efforts, especially his. Through his choice, he accomplished his dream. Life is like a box of chocolate, we are able to choose what we like.

Furthmore, in daily life, while our economy thrives, we earn much more than our descendants. Therefore, we can afford to materials we like. If we prefer to playing basketball, we could go to the playground and play with our friends. With more salaries, our dressing style is ensured. The time we like a dress, there is no need for us to hesitate to purchase like our parents in the old days. In addition, food on our desk become in a diverse way through new technologies. That means we have much choices of what to eat.

On the contrary, absolute choice doesn't exist at all. There are principles and laws to restrict our actions. Such restrictions ensure people to live in a safe way without being hurt by others' choice.
When one convicts crimes, then he has to make up for his guilty. Truly, to some distent there do exist things that we cannot choose. Our nationalities, which family is born and so on are not determined by us. Logically, sometimes even we have dreams; those dreams are limited by our conditions. To support a trip to the moon, a mountain of money has been required. Common sense tells me that in the world few persons can afford this money. Even assuming that when someone has the ability to pay for the trip, he still has to have a health physical condition which is suit for the universal trip.

Though some things are indeed cannot be chosen, those contains only a small amount of percentage in our lives. To sum up, we have tremendous options in the society.
