Should students be skeptical to any knowledge they learn? In my view,
with skeptical attitudes to every science benefit to cultivate student's subjective thinking ability so that they further understand the knowledgeable points.(with 和 so that 重复) Therefore, I agree with the spokesman's assertion that we should cultivate skeptical attitude of students rather than how much they passively accepting(cultivate 和how much they passively accepting 不能搭配上,即 rather than两边短语不平衡).
On the one hand, so-called authorized theories are not absolutely seamless.(好!) With the advent of industrial life, people's lives are becoming even more comfortable and convenient following the technologies whose theories trends to be perfected(这段话与With the advent of industrial life似乎意思重复了). However, creative and innovate spirits seem to disappear among the students because they think(consider?) theories on books are absolutely right rather than relatively true. Admittedly, the knowledge on(in?) our teaching materials(text books?) is the accumulation of long term experience of gorgeous celebrities(社会名流?!)(或许可以写成:accumulated(or “compiled”"editted")by gorgeous scholars over a long period of time). Yet does it mean we must entirely believe that? I do not think so because such theories and knowledge are made by human(common people?), who are kind of animals always make mistakes,(这句观点很好,我觉得可以不提动物:who would make mistakes occasionally and also could not master all human knowledge,) thereby, there are(maybe) some faults on(in) the books that we can not find until now, or temporally accord with natural principles. For example, with most authority the so-called perfect theory "The Evolution Theory" is queried by many scientists, which have been deeply believed by most people as natural basic principles for long periods(for a long period). Thus this theory is likely to be overturned from(by?那么后面是editor应该) books.(这段观点不错,学习,只是有些用词不准确和句法失误)
On the other hand, student's skepticism helps enhance their abilities of subjective thinking and creative ideas for the reason that with skepticism students hardly believe that everything is not absolutely right or wrong but relatively depends on the circumstances. Therefore, they are willing to ask questions and try to figure out solutions. Admittedly, with the attitudes of skepticism (这里缺少主语,感觉with 的用法失误这是全文的第三处,需要注意一下,或者想作主语的话 with要删除)does not amount to(不明白,是is not eaqual to?或者 means?) totally deny anything they learn, but to discover ways to perfect or consummate(这两个词意思重复:perfect and develop?) original theories. Consider the fact of students who studies history(可以写成history study), for the reason that nations have their own benefits, stances and cultural requirements, each of them(指的是学生?书本?因为后面serves to主语好像是sth) more or less serves to modify, defame or glorify history. Therefore, students hardly recover the original history so that sometimes they grow to misunderstand the essence of history if they are passively obtaining knowledge what they weretaught,(删~) and more severe, give up their innate skeptical spirits.
Turning next to the contrary side, if students just completely obtain knowledge from rot(?) books, they also do not understand the true essences of the knowledge of theory. Admittedly, our would-be knowledge will largely be enriched by one and one of books(不懂~), which are totally learned and have a superficial knowledge of that. Therefore, real useful knowledge that can not be found from the surface(书皮?) of books could be applied to practicality serves to be very little. On the contrary(前面的句子与elite似乎不构成对比关系), real elites derive from questions once and once again. Moreover, such notions of knowledge will form a deep impression in our mind and can not be deleted as a result. Consider computer science, which address practical use. If students are not willing to ask professional questions after they engage in empirical use, they will never understand how the programming works without teacher's help and depending(depend?还是and前后不平衡) on the knowledge of books.
In sum, I fundamentally agree with the speaker's assertion that skepticism help students in studying, and further in their whole life. Passive gaining of knowledge is wrong and leads to severe results. Subjectively cultivating students' skepticism plays critical role in current educational system, and thereby, the students can best develop their potentiality.
论点抓的很好,可惜的是 一些语法、用词confusing, 妨碍了阅读的流畅~ |
