Education is the way to lead students get knowledge what they want to know and what is useful to them. However, students sometimes do not what knowledge they need indeed, so if education just emphasize designed to meet the students’ needs and interests but ignore help them to identify what knowledge is useful to them, things will go wrong.
   Admittedly, when education is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student will be most effectively. For the purpose and the target of education is to let students obtain knowledge that is useful to them. Everyone’s time is limited, how can one get as much knowledge he useful as he can decide the efficiency of his study. So if education is designed to meet students’ needs directly, the education can teach a person more knowledge he needs and will be obvious effective. on contrary, if education ignore to meet students’ need, and teach students knowledge out of date or students will not use at all, the education is failing, and west students’ time . In this aspect, education designs to meet students’ need will be effective.
however, in most time, most student not know what knowledge is useful to them or even do not know what occupation they will work in when they grow up. So if education just emphasizes meeting students’ needing, it will finally be misleading. Take us for example, when we are children, adults always asked what we want to be when we grow up, and we always tend to answer that when we grow up we want to be professors, scientists, famous football players and so on, but now we have grown up, haw many people in us can fulfill the ideal of our childhood? The fact is, as we growing, getting more knowledge, and experiencing more things, we realize ourselves deeper and deeper, we know what job is suite us by compare with other jobs, so we must try to know what knowledge is not useful to us before we know what knowledge is useful to us, so to design education meets students’ need only is just a good imagination, but lake of feasibility.
What’s more, if we let education just meet students’ need may lead to some majors become more and more competitive and other majors are lake of human recourse. As we all know, now days, many students pursuit B.Cs major in economy, for financial industry is regarded as a well pay industry, meanwhile the amount of students who want to be good engineers become fewer and fewer, so if education is designed to meet students’ personal needs may make possible that the people major in economy is excess while people major in engineering is lacking and if a society is full of economists but lacks engineers, the society will be sick. Someone may say that if too many economists in society, the competition between them may become intensely, and some students may not chose economy but to study engineering. However, people should take time to realize the excess, when they realize the ponderance of the phenomenon; many people have already paid great loss for this.   
All in all, education designed to meet students’ need could be truly effective, but lacks of feasibility, so we should find the equilibrium point between the effective and feasibility that not only can help students get as much knowledge as they need, but also let students have a good idea about what knowledge they truly need.
