What is socialization? Whether how children are socialized today determines the destiny of society? How to define “ a better society”? Is it true that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society? Is there any relationship between it and the socialization of children, or further, the destiny of society? I disagree with this topic, because it must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
First, it is true that the development of the children determines the destiny of society, cause（because） they are the future leaders of it. Consider that if children were taught with bad thoughts such as violence, stealing, gambling and so forth, when they become an adult, even our leaders, then something bad would happened（appear） in our daily life such as unfair, turbulent（这个应该是个形容词吧convulsion何如？or disturbance）, instability and so on.
However, the socialization of children is only one of the factors that determine the development of children, and yet it may not (be缺系)the most important one. A famous examples that Martin Luther King’s contribution was primary the result of religious upbringing, which had more to do with his parents rather than his socialization is used to point out what I provided above. Another example is Roosevelt, whose social and physical development were both stunned by his life-threatening infirmities during his childhood. Yet, despite of the isolation, odd manner and aloofness throughout his early life, he ascended(攀登哈，用成长的意思比较好，但是我不知道ascend有这个意思，存疑) to be a president and left great influence on the development of American by means of his strong will to overcome all the obstacles along the way, his voracious appetite for knowledge and special talents（告诉我逗号以后的东西想说什么）.
In addition, what is the most important, consider the item “better society” as equality, prosperity, stabilization, then we do have experienced great improvement and progress during the last decades. Our society legislated against gambling, offered welfare and medical events to assure the fundamental rights of our citizens. Our government knows and do what they can do for us to create a better life differ from the past. On the other hand, our government once has been a teen.
And actually, we could not even know whether the upbringing is successful until we could perceive the result, and adequate evidence（复数） reveals that it is the case. Once there were two young man（men）, one is smart, the other is not. They were cultivated in a same way, and the smart one gave up but the fool one was on, and in the end who persisted succeeded. We can not easily draw the conclusion that whether we learned the method of raising children, to most extent, children herself/himself determined the finally result.(冗余，我指的是你的“two young man”的例子，不用则已能表达你的意思，何况这也不是一个好例子)
In sum, every coin has two sides, we can not ignore either of its side. After defining the concept of
Socialization and ‘better society’, we will find our children have some effects on them but whether the influence is most important need to be discussed.
