1. 外出实践确实重要，尤其是鉴于现在大学教员存在的一些问题。但是实践未必局限于跟自己专业相关的事情，而且实践对于所有的专业来说也未闭合适
2. 有的专业，外出实习可以提高专业技能和应用能力。通过对外实习，教员们将会遇到实验室所模拟不出来的问题，并运用自己的理论知识加以解决，这样以来，在日常教学与研究过程中，更加实用高效并便于理解。不仅如此，课外实习可以让教员与社会直接联系，了解当前的就业形势，更好地知道学生规划自己的人生。

According to this issue, the author claimsthat all faculties ought to take more practice outside in related areas, Sincetoo many drawbacks have been exposed to the society that a large quantity of thoseteachers lack practical experience, lose teaching responsibilities, have lotsof monotonous contents, it’s quite reasonable for them to expanding theirknowledge category. Meanwhile, as far as I am concerned, ordering allinstructors work outside and just entering the places relevant with theirfields seems not as insightful as the writer considered.


With respects to fields where outside workis prerequisite, this requirement will facilitate people’s professionalabilities and the skills of using them. With massive obstacles, never could beimitated in the laboratory, staying on the road, the faculty have to figure themout by the academic information. Thus, they can understand the deep meaningsinside, and make it more comprehensible and effective to their students. What’smore, thanks to connecting with the society directly, guiding students to makea rational career plan could turn to be more visible. For instance, it’sespecially substantial in those majors like Mechanical Manufacture, Zoology,Accounting and so on.

Admittedly, the world around us intertwineswith each other and forms a complicated web interacting in ways that cannot becomprehended without a mastery of knowledge of several fields. In fact, thediverse science nowadays is evolved from few main domains—philosophy,mathematics and the like, so almost all branches can find themselves to someextent. These specific branches in turn function together to accelerate thepace of advancement in different realms. A case in point is Archaeology, adiscipline requiring a variety of other human endeavors involving geography,biology, history and linguistics, all of them have nothing connected with eachother at the first glance. Hence, those faculties are required to practice notonly in the related but also the irrelevant areas.

However, with respects to fields whereinside work is more fundamental, outside work is meaningless to them. Theyspend most of their time researching in the inner places, as a consequence, toomuch time separating from the formal position will debilitate theirconcentration on academic works. Only focus highly can they arrive at the peakof their life, these kind of scientists are enormous all over the world. ChenJingrun, one of the most famous mathematicians in modern Chinese, once tookseveral years and bags of scratch papers in explaining Goldbach conjecture. Andfinally, he successfully proved the validity of the “1+2”theory, which improvethe process of deciphering Goldbach conjecture in a large scale. He also had anickname, “freak man”, as a result of his deficiency in speaking out the namesof daily essentials. We can see from this example that even those who lack somesocial ability but professional enough can do magnitude contribution toscience.


In sum, different strategies should be paidon the different subjects. Someone may needs outside work in relevant areas,while other may needs divers areas or just devote one’s mind to a specific course.
