How to improve the quality of instruction at the university and college is always one of the projects which are studied by the education experts. It is widely discussed that[that去掉，后面加whether] for further improvement[for further improvement直接放在这里有点chinglish,去掉顺口些], [whether]all faculties should be required to work outside the academic world for some time in professions relevant to the courses they teach. In my point of view, it actually[不恰当，to some extent] helps with[with 去掉] the college education, but it is still a case-by-case[好词，^-^] issue since the measure may be not indispensable for some disciplines and has several flaws need[need 去掉] to be considered.[这段语言有些“涩”]
The science, no matter natural science or social science, is always driven by two different engines[engine赞！]--the scientific research in [inside]the campus and practice in the factories or society. Therefore, it is expected that the faculty can gain a lot from the work outside the academic world[ETS要求多样化，the academic world应该很好替换]. First, they can better comprehend the knowledge in his professions through the practice and, [,and]luckily enough, form a new theory from the inspiration which is brought by the work[research还是practice？指代不清]. Obviously [恐怕在ETS看来没有这么Obvious举个具体点的例子]the students in the university will benefit from this improvement of their teachers via teaching. Moreover, faults or incompleteness[faults or incompleteness赞！] is often accompanying with the practice. Once errors occur, the professors have the opportunities to revise the theory or method aiming at solving the practical problems. In summary, not only the faculties gain a deeper and further comprehension with the theory, but also the errors in practice are swept out in many cases.[结构紧凑，层次分明]
What's more, with the improvement of their teachers, the students will benefit a lot from the programs at the meantime. As the teachers keep the pace with the practice, they tend to instruct the teenagers more about the relationship between the theory and the practice. So it is easier for students to learn better and comprehend deeper. Furthermore, this improvement on teaching helps the students keep in touch with the work market[the job market] so that they are able to plan their career and future early. Consequently, the measure makes it possible for students[to] gain a better comprehension of knowledge and intensive touch with the job market which is very important for contemporary society.
Nonetheless, the conclusion that all faculty should be required to participate in this project is a hasty generalization for some disciplines which are not suitable for this measure due to their distinct characters. For instance, the professors in pure mathematics may improve little through this project because there are seldom jobs for this discipline thus they may prefer to work in their office[复数] rather than the outside world. At the same time, it cannot be ignored that the faculty spending time working outside means less concentration on research and teaching which probably leads to the decreased quality of instruction. That is not what we expect. On the other hand, the limited time on work might not be enough for the faculty to get an overall perspective and deep recognition of the work although it is in professions relevant to the courses they teach or research. Hence, the requirement is still a case-by-case problem as it cannot be applied easily to some disciplines and it hides some flaws which may lead to a counterproductive effect[lead to a counterproductive effect]. In my view, to sum up, the program can be expected to improve the quality of instruction at the college and university level in many cases. However, some unique circumstances should be considered and the positive & negative effect should be evaluated all sidedly. Only in this way can we constitute an effective and proper project which helps the college education the most.[结尾段画龙点睛！^-^]
