Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? If you do not make sure other people (especially influential people or your employers) know about your strengths and accomplishment, you will never get successful in life.

No one can deny Mr. Big have quite a crucial influence in our life due to his extraordinary status and his ability to offer help which can totally change our life without any difficulty. However, taking what concerns me into consideration, I firmly hold the idea that never should us exaggerate the significance of other people’s opinion and help, thanks to the fact that even no one knows our strength and accomplishment, we can achieve success in life. What really determines whether or not we could succeed depends on ourselves, but not others, even Mr. Big.
First and foremost, other people can do some extent of help, while they can never replace one’s own effort. Although some may benefit a lot with the help of Mr. Big, they have got no possibility to cover every aspect considering that they can never replace and analysis one as well as oneself. Taking Einstein for an instance, once unknown to most of people and being denied by two out of the scientists who have the greatest reputation in the world, he was so lack of support and understanding, while he never stopped believing in himself. After years of waiting and being doubted, he finally gained what he deserved without other’s recognition of his talent and accomplishment due to his own effort, patience and perseverance. Hence, we should depend on ourselves, rather than count for other’s generous presence.
Apart from this, that other people know about your strengths and accomplishment never counts to whether or not one will get successful in life, but a relevant factor to help. Never should we become utility due to our avarice for fame and possessions, and what really treasures to us is what we’ve achieved. Outstanding as Von Gogh is, he was regarded as nut and insane when he was alive, and his paintings were considered as ridiculous and unorganized. However, nowadays has witnessed an unexpected zeal for Von Gogh that any one of his paintings worth millions of dollars, and some among them are seen as priceless. Can a word put on it that when Von Gogh was alive he was totally a mess and unsuccessful?
Thus, it can conclude that even though other people do not know about our strengths and accomplishment, we can also get successful in life. What makes us is not other’s cognition, but the treasures we achieve in our process.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents should allow children to make their own choices rather than determine their children’s future for them.


Admittedly, with parents’ instruction and guidance paving the way for their children they will have a much smoother life to manage and easier goal to achieve compared to making their own decision and choosing their own way to go. However, nobody can deny that though tougher and unsmooth, children will learn much more from their own choices and experience, which counts much to the children themselves. So, taking what concerns me into consideration, I firmly hold the idea that parents should allow children to make their own choices rather than determine their children’s future for them.

First and foremost, children should have the right to choose for them own, and they ought to be responsible for themselves, from which they could get independent thinking. Everybody is an independent individual who should have the right to choose their own way and behave responsibly for their behavior, and children are no exception. Parents’ shelter can cover their kids for a while, but it will never last lifelong as the parents will pass away. Moreover, let children do what they want to do will cultivate their independence. Within parents’ guidance may children go much more smoothly, they have no independent thinking habit due to their parents’ manipulation which impedes their own development. Taking Edison for an instance, once being considered as a retard due to his clumsy, fantasy and improper ridiculous habits, he practiced his thought once and once again, developing independent thinking pattern, which benefited him so much that eventually he became the greatest inventor ever in the history.

Apart from this, leaving children deciding for themselves is a measure to have children experience what life really is. Naturally speaking, animals such as lions, tigers and bears will always leave their cubs by them own to survive in the cruelty and despair so that they can go for their own life in a proper era. This contributes to the mass due to its cultivation of the ability to survive. We human beings should be no exception as well. Too much care for the children never is something good to the kids, but harm and obstacle. Once parents decide everything for children due to love, there is no doubt that the survive ability of children in the cement jungle will be greatly weakened.

Thus, it can conclude that parents should allow children to make their own choices rather than determine their children’s future for them. Not only because children need space to determine where they go and gain independence, but it also benefit children’s ability to survive the cement jungle and adapt to the imminent changing circumstances.
