Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? One should never judge a person by external appearances. Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

With the increasing communication with others, more and more people pay attention to the external appearance, both their own and others'. From my perspective, in most cases, external appearance is truly important but not vital. However, for some special reasons and unique situation, one should judge a person by external appearances in a great deal.

Admittedly, wonderful external appearances can surely take pleasure and comfort to others, but I should say beauty is not the paramount character in one's life. For instance, the famous basketball star, Cassell, is a man called Martian by many people. There is no doubt that he is a really ugly man, but this has no influence on his career. He won several the Final Champions and currently he is still making contributions in the NBA field. When talking about his appearance, people always feel awful, meanwhile, most of people admire and praise to his success. So, judging a person by external appearances might make misconception. In my opinion, morality, responsibility and assiduous are the real factors in judging a person.

However, in some cases, one should make a decision merely by external appearances. To give a demonstration, when a shopping mall hires some sales, the external appearances become crucial. The purpose of the shopping mall is to sale more commodities, from this aspect, the more beautiful and attractive sales are, the higher possibility that clients might consume. In a sense, the company should judge a person by the external appearances to decide whether to give the offer.

Anyway, it is not entirely correct to say one should never judge a person by external appearance. Only by considering the proper situation can one make the correct conclusion.
