Topic: Whether did Edmontosaurus migrate in cold winter?

Reading passage: Agree
1. As foods they fed on were not available in winter, they had to migrate to more hospitable areas.
2. Skeletons unearthed showed that they took action in herds, which helped them cooperate in migration.
3. They were capable to run fast during a long journey

Lecture: Disagree
1.
The weather in ancient time there was much warmer than that in modern time. The sunshine on the peak was abundant to guarantee food growing on trees.
2.
Herds could not be the only interpretation of migration, there were some other preferable reasons. They might got protected to avoid predators. For example, while Rooserve Elks also were in herds, they didn’t migrate at all.

3.
Juvenile were not as capable as the adult. Therefore, the adult would not leave their offspring behind. It was impossible for the whole migration of Edmontosaurus.
