48 does the study of history over emphasize "the famous few"

Spartacus,the least notable leader of the slave uprising in Roman period,was usually mentioned by people as a symbol of hero.However, many nameless people attached themselves to the insurrection,they might be hero like Spartacus,why do we always pick out Spartacus when we talk about the slave uprising?A big amount of people participated in the Third Servile War,but Spartacus,as a notable key individual who provided the necessary impetus for the war ,impressed the history.The most important in history mightbe made by a group of nameless people,but there were always a major leader who played the significant role.
Adimittedly,at times groups of people played a more important role in history.The Berlin Wall,which is built to cut off West Germany from the East.It contained anti-vehicle trenches "fakir beds"and other defences.Nevertheless, a lot of people still tried to across the wall ,some succeed while some failed.However,in 1989,the people from the East crossed and climbed onto the wall,joined by the people from the west on the other side in a celebratory atmosphere.The fall of Berlin wall contributed to the re unification of Germany which was by groups of nameless people.
Nevertheless,most of the famous uprising in history was led by a notable leader.And the  famous individuals who inspired us a lot also impressed history such as Curie,Edison,Einstein,Copernicus and so on.
That significant changes and reforms require the participation of groups of people is true,but I can hardly remind of those leaderless groups.The great project such as Taj Mahl and Great Wall,which came from the efforts of large groups of people of workers did impress us a lot,yet ,it was one of those famous few.We couldn't conclude things just because of the famous few. Moreover,the Taj Mahl and Great Wall are built for the majesty.We can also classify the two as the sort of individual influence.
To sum up,significant reforms  and changes do calls for the power of groups,but the importance of key individual who lead the group is of the most significance.We can both take the stories of groups and key individuals as a reference in the development of ourselves.
