offer Anthropology PhD @Indiana university Bloomington

刚受到他家的offer,之前有过一个interview:
Congratulations!  I am writing with the good news that you have been accepted to the Anthropology Ph.D. program at Indiana University with one of our prestigious admission fellowships.  You will receive an official letter with the details of the fellowship shortly, but in brief it includes the following:  a fellowship for your first year plus tuition and medical insurance, two years of guaranteed teaching assistantships (which include tuition and medical insurance) for years 2 and 3, and a final guaranteed year of a teaching assistantship, tuition, and medical insurance during your dissertation write-up (typically in your 5th year).  We are thrilled to be able to offer you this funding and are very excited about the possibility of you joining us in the department.


目前得从Rice, IU-Bloomington, UW-Madison (他们家的奖学金还没出不过）中选。Rice 项目小， 成立不久，导师很match也很nice，但排名低;IU和Madison是公立大校，但人类学的排名高了不少。


大家有什么建议吗？

呵呵，之前电面的时候，这个教授一直在跟我强调因为经济危机，他们学校第一年很难保证奖学金，要去了之后再争取。后来听出我吓到了，连忙又补充说大部分同学都能在第二年拿到TA. 所以看到最终结果是全奖，这位很nice的教授估计也兴奋了。真是很好的教授啊！
