An education system built on what studentslike or not seems perfect for everyone. However, it has some serious problemsas the lack resource of education and the true purpose of teaching may totallydestroy this ideal thing.

We should admit the very important roleinterest played when it comes to education. It is obvious that a student willlearn faster and longer when something attracts him. Just like the old sayinggoes, the interest is the best teacher for students. Under the pleasure ofinterest, people will be more creative. It is hard to imagine a situation thatyou force Albert Einstein to give up his interest and become a normal businessman. In the financial world, maybe there will be a millionaire in the world,but it will be a great loss to the science world. An education system can takeinto account the specific needs and interest of every student will help fullydevelop the potential and talent of the students and they will be moreinstructive.

Albeit, it is almost impossible to makesuch a pattern as there are millions of students. The resource is limit incomparison with the amount of students. The specific needs of everyone are differentand would cause a great waste when the student is graduated. The teacher is notenough, either. It is also hard for a student to determine what he is he reallylike. It needs experience and only after that could a student know that isreally like.

Even the resource is not a problem, the aimof education is not just letting a student be a specialist in special area. Ifa system concentrated on what a student interest and just teach him theknowledge of the domain. It can be a tragedy as the real society is so complexand is required many skills, we have heard dozens of pathetic stories aboutcollege students went to college with their mom because they do not know how towash stocks. We can often read odd news which violates science, it is probablythat the journalist just interest in literature and have not got basic knowledgeof chemistry. Education is different from training of jobs. The final destinyis to build a fully developed man.

Although complete freedom in designededucation is not appropriate, school should try their best to give studentschoices to learn things on their own will which, of course, is based on thefact that the compulsory education is guaranteed.
