As for the status of your application, while you are otherwise eligible for admission, we have not been able to identify a faculty advisor who is able to accept you as his or her advisee. As we do not admit students who have not been accepted by an advisor, I have not been able to recommend admission to the graduate college. If you have not already done so, you may wish to communicate directly with a faculty member here doing research in your particular areas of interest. I cannot promise that this would spark an advisor’s interest, but it might be beneficial.

Please let me know if there is any other information or assistance that I can provide. Thank you again for your interest and your application.

即使是婉拒，他们也会说的很清楚的，不会这么模糊。
这个的意思是让你去找个adviser，不然他们没有办法收你。

你之前没有套辞还是没有套成功？没有教授指明要你的话，你是不会被录取的。
你现在可以问问看：如果有教授接受你，你的申请是否还有效？如果答案是肯定的话，马上套辞。
