问what can be inferred about matching process， 答案是b，not possible if a feature change in some way， 我选的是e，not fully understood as a combination of the serial and parallel processes. 我感觉b一定是不对的因为文中说”the weight of evidence seem to support...at least for objects that are not notably simple and familiar“，所以说即使object的feature变化了，还是可以match的，只是不是gestalt 那组科学家所提出的方法而已，而是其他psychologists提出的serial matching 的那组。

Visual recognition involves storing and retrieving mem-
ories. Neural activity, triggered by the eye, forms an
image in the brain’s memory system that constitutes an
internal representation of the viewed object. When an
object is encountered again, it is matched with its inter-
nal representation and thereby recognized. Controversy
surrounds the question of whether recognition is a paral-
lel, one-step process or a serial, step-by-step one. Psy-

E肯定是不对的，因为这个说法根本没有fully understand，文中只是罗列了观点，对观点的评论也少句很模糊的the weight of evidence seems to support the serial hypothesis,at least for objects that are not notably simple and familiar。

OH, 我明白了，文中的意思是这2个theories 是either or的关系，所以只能是一个对， 不是combination, 而开头文章又提到要match memory system in the brain，所以一定要有memory才行，therefore b 是正确的。 是这样的吗？ 果真infer的题需要仔细想一下才可以。
