本人国文和外文都不好，你随便看看
1，tame翻译的话就是培养、形成的意思吧，但是tame本来比较多减少野性、软化的意思在里面，这里用的很有意思呀
2，这个storyteller由可以charm听众变成了众叛亲离的loner，这里alternate with是转变的意思吧
3，没有上下文的判断，但是我觉得是说这个可怜的男人（反正这些叙述都是说他很可怜）迎来了他的第二春。这里gave way to我感觉不是让位，而是指同一个人的转变（可以这样用吗？）
