Asked whether one needs the help of government to solve problem, many people argue that they do not want the government to put a finger in their cakes. However, government's helps are significant or even necessary sometimes. People need government to protect them depending on laws, and to solve problems more efficiently, and in some occasions to solve problems that cannot be solve by individuals or corporation.

It is the government who has the responsibility to protect its citizens. As many troubles people face in society are caused by behaviors against the law, such as robberies, the society has criteria which ensure individuals security and benefits. It is necessary that there is an organization supervising and punishing these illegal behaviors. This organization is the government. For example, when people meet great difficulties, usually the thing comes into minds is to turn to the policeman. This is partially because the police, a government department, will never refuse the requirement for help from citizens since offering helps is their responsibility.

Also, government can help solve problems more efficiently or even perfectly. With thousands of employees, well-developed systems, and a large sum of tax incomes, the government holds great resources. Moreover, as the government is supported by a whole country, it is often be regarded as more reliable and trustable. Take education for example. Every parents may face the problem how to educated their children. In Asian countries, most parents send their children to public school, which is supported and supervised by the government. The parents often believes that education in public schools is better than in private schools with large sums of financial supports.

Sometimes only the government can solve some problems. These problems are often too large and complex to be solved by individuals or corporations. For instance, the US government supplies more than 50 billion dollars every year as financial aid for college students, which solve the conflict between expensive
tuition fees and students' need to get high education. Some problems are even larger so that they can only be solved by the union of governments and corporation. In this situation, government can serve as a connector between different individuals and corporations.

In a whole, people's lives, including education, financial security, medical insurance, all cannot leave the help of government. Thanks to the government, citizens can avoid many disturbance and be able to focus on enjoying their personal lives.
