请看前一句话：but people living closest to the San Juan Mountains. to the northeast of Mesa Verde, were affected first。B选项就是换歌说法来解释这一句，并对前面做出的总结。A选项说的内容应该是GROWING后面那一句，这样整段的逻辑才说得通。每次阅读句子之间的逻辑还是比较好找得。一般划线句的解释都可以在前面一句或者后面一句找到。
