Do you agree with this statement: it ismore enjoyable to have a job, and you work only three days a week with longhours rather than work five days a week with shorter hours.

The beauty ofworking only three days a week with long hours is that you can enjoy more time staying with family or friends. Despite this advantage, I don't reckon that a three-day long hours' work is more enjoyable than working five days but shorter hours' work.




According to a research carried by Chinese Labour institution indicates that after average 1.5 hours work, 78.4 percent of employees feel tired and hoped to have a 10- 20 minutes rest or their working efficiency will be declined dramatically. Plus, as a college student, I also feel irritated after a whole day dealing with my homework and next day, I tend to sleep in the bed. Consequently, a long hours working will not only have bad effect on one's working efficient, but also affect one's mood. While, workfive days with shorter hours allow us to have more time to relax and adjustafter a hard work day.
What's more, if we work for long hours even in only three days, the stress we may bear is more sever than that of working short hours for five days. The work plan in three days may hard for us to complete so that we have to work more diligent, sacrifice nap time and burn midnight oil. These, however, lead to negative effects such as our health. We may find there always being so many works undone, and the time is always limited. Then, we feel ourselves are surrounded by a variety of stress and don't know how to deal with them because the stress are always there.
A five -day short working hours, however, can release such situation for the assignment will be considerate. It is also impossible for employers to designate too much work for their employees if there is sufficient time for them to finish.

Nevertheless, as the majority of ordinary people are working for fivedays a week, if we work only three days, the rest of the week, it is difficult to find our intimate friends available. So we may hugged by loneliness and vanity. While, for five days job, everyday after working, we still have enough time to spend with friend and family members.


To sum up, I think working five days a week with shorter hours is more enjoyable, because we tend to obtain a high working efficient, light mood and less stress.
