套磁回复1: Your work on temperature effects on bridges is important and often misunderstood and/or not taken seriously. I have seen temperature data collected on in-service bridges that suggests strains are orders of magnitude larger than from live load (traffic).
Congratulations on applying to our program! This is the first step. Unfortunately, I don’t have currently funding available to support another PhD student in the fall. However, there are other faculty members in the department and there is still time.

Thank you very much for your interests in my research. I have three openings for 2012, however all of them have been filled. So the financial support for your case will depend on four proposals I submitted during the last few months. Please apply for your admission to the graduate school first, and I will keep you posted when the funding comes.
