Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents should allow their children to make mistakes and let themlearn from their own mistakes.
Every parents hope their children will have a bright future, thus some of them are afraid of their children make mistake, they do everything they could for their children, let their children live in the ivory town. They thought this is good for their children, but in my opinion this is totally wrong. Nobody was born to be success. I think parents should allow their children to make mistake and let them learn from their mistake which is the key to the rosy prospect.
First of all, mistake will impress children with it. Many of the best lessons people learn in life come from the mistakes they have made and the knowledge the gained from their mistakes. Take Alfred Nobel for example. Owing to he can not find the the proper proportion of the chemical agent he test for thousands of times, he even went deaf in one of the explosion, but he never give up and the lesson from those mistakes, eventually he invent the dynamite. Nobody's life is as right as rain, everybody can make mistakes, thus we have to be rational when we make mistakes. We should found the weakness of ourself from the mistakes instead of self-denial.
Secondly, mistake will make children more independent. I still remember that i have read a news which is reported that a summer camp of Japanese students came to China to visit the forbidden city on their own. When the reporter asked the teacher does she afraid that the students were get lost? She answered, lost is one of the best education. They will have a chance to solve problem on their own on the way.
Last but not least, mistake will cultivate children 's willpower. When children make mistakes they will realized that gain success have a long way to go. They have to work hard and determination. When people fail at something important in their lives and decide to try again, they tend to regain confidence and persist with great resilience.
In conclusion, parents could neither accompany their children forever nor protect them all the time. I think the true definition of love is set the children free, let them do what they want and support them unconditionally rather than confine them in the fetter of love. They have the right to make mistakes and achieve success out of it.
