Many people believe that it is very important to make large amounts of money, while others are satisfied to earn a comfortable living. Analyze each viewpoint and take a stand. Give specific reasons for your position.
We are now living in a economic and fast-developing world , needless to say , money , plays a important role in our life , many people hold the view that making large amounts of money is important while others are satisfied to earn a comfortable living , in my opinion , I stand for the latter one .and I will defend my argument as follows.
First , although I have to confess that with large amounts money , we will have more freedom to do what we like. such as travelling around the world and go to the restaurant we like to eat a good meal , so many other things like that , in fact , we should not pursue money just for our own enjoyment , life is more than just for enjoy ourselves . there are more important things in life that need to be done . as for the meaning of life . I hold the view that only through making contribution to the society can we really realize our self-value . in this way , our meaning should not be judged just as how much money we are be able to earn , for example , we all know nowadays the teacher’s salary is much lower compared to the money that a popular singer can earn , but no one would say that a teacher is making less contribution to the society compared to a popular singer! Then whether making large amounts of money or not is not that important as long as the money we earned is enough for us to live comfortablely since life is short , we should put more energy to do what we think is the most important rather than think how to earn large amounts of money all day .
Second ,  it is true that in order to get something , we lose something at the same time ,making large amounts of money is no exception , in most circumstances ,it means we have to take extra hours in our jobs , thus making less time left to do other important things in life ,such as enjoying the great time with our family members and our friends . take one of my friend for example , he is the one that always wants to make more money and is willing to work in holidays because he can get more money through working extra hours especially in holidays , to my knowledge , it is not worthwhile to do so . again , time is precious for anyone , we should balance the time for making money and some other important thing in life .
All in all . life is short , we should put more energy to do the things that really worth doing . such as making contribution to society and realize our self-value .  or spend more time with the ones we really love . as long as the money is enough for us to live comfortably , then whether making large amounts of money or not is not that important,
