对于这题不明觉厉。。 = =对应在何方。。。 表意不明@_@ 求解

破题从2空开始，machinery =processes   我一开始也没看出来，但是最后一句话解释了这个process的作用就是machinery的作用。。然后二空可以做了，instead表转折   cluster取反义=transmitted to

再回来看一空，从后面的as in the days of steam可以看出：虽然they did not need to cluster their machinery around the power source，但是他们还是这样做了，而且现在still in the steam age。
而一空应该是后面具体事例的概括性论点，所以uprooting  dismissing都不合适  选mimic模仿

这题感觉还真必须先读出整段要说的东西才能做，起码先把后面的论据读通意思才行。。。所以阅读能力是王道啊
