请问一道PP2的题， 没做的同学不要进来，留着模考。

我先说我的理解如下：
最后一句的主干是 biologists are focusing on habitat loss.
investigating the causes of ，这句是现在分词作状语，根据这个可以选择loss这样的词。所以填decline.
these______. these的前面肯定有指代，所以讲declines代入第二空中，所以填一个falling.
第一空，
我就有疑问了。
While 表示反义，转折的词，后面说的是falling，一个负面的词，那么前面不就应该是一个正向的词吗？我感觉填secure.

那个，你理解的有点问题。
while的那个句子的确是转折没错，但是转折的点是particularly precarious和just one of形成反义，particularly意思是说特殊，just one of则是说只是其中一个，很普通。
因此两个空要填同义的两个词。

所以while引起转折的时候，不一定空格就是反义，因为如果已经在非空格部分反义过了，就不能再反一次。
